I think it seems like she's been pregnant forever b/c they broke the news at the very moment they found out. Usually you don't hear about it until the woman starts showing a la Angelina Jolie... and I think Katie and Angelina may have began their pregnancies at nearly the same time.

this is her first baby..i'm sure she past her due date...so maybe that's why they say she may due in any day now..

I think she may be doing a lot of walking to encourage labor. When someone is overdue they are often told to go walking otherwise labor would have to be medically induced.

Finally! Katie Holmes has given birth to a baby girl named Suri.

According to a statement issued by their publicist, the baby girl weighed 7 lbs 7 oz and was 20 inches in length. The name Suri means "princess" in Hebrew or "red rose" in Persian.

Not that I'm crazy about this couple (well, Tom), but I think the name Suri is lovely and I bet she'll be a cute girl.

Oddly enough, Brooke Shields gave birth to her daughter Grier on the some floor of the same hospital today. Its ironic b/c of the 'feud' btwn Tom and Brooke regarding her PPD..
