So no more pics from the oh so private couple? Y'know most celeb couples release 1 pic and it leaves you curious to see more. Tomkat have released pics documenting pretty much every second of their wedding day. The only reason we haven't see honeymoon pics is because David Miscavage won't stop pawing Tom to take some pics.

The honeymoon is over for Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, as they take their precious cargo (in the form of 7-month-old daughter Suri) to the airport in the Republic of Maldives on Friday. The family is reportedly heading home on Cruise's private jet.

Tom looks like he's stuck in the 70's with that outfit. Maybe he's trying to recapture his youth and look like he's young and hip enough to be with Katie. Unfortunately the last time Tom was hip and cool was probably the 70's or never.

^^ Yeah Tom doesn't help matters by publically proclaiming his straightness and awkwardly groping Katie every time they are in public. He's always trying so damn hard.

I think she soaks up the attention, she loves it when she gets swarmed by the paps. She never got that much attention beforehand. Unfortunately for her I think she's pretty much killed her career. Let's hope Tom pays her well for the next few yrs until her decides to trade her in for a younger more subservient model.

It made me think that it could be fair to say that she got married to attention...

I think what canuckcutie means is that 27 is old enough to have a level head about you and know what you are getting into....
in this case publicity or some strange arranged marriage unlike one ever before.

I just don't buy them as a "real" couple not because they seem all that strange together....
or not even that I think Tom may be a horribly repressed gay man....
it's just the events leading up to their meeting, and falling in love, getting engaged and starting a family was so odd....
she went to see him for a "meeting" that nobody seems to know what was about and the bam!!...TomKat.

I don't buy into them as a real couple either and I agree with whoever said they give them just a couple of years for that, but 27 is young, especially for a girl, who's never been in a long-term relationships before. However, if you're talking about a person's ability to know what you're getting yourself into, I don't really see much difference between 27 and 17... I mean, you either have it or not, imo...

^^ yes, she did. I just watched her interview with David Letterman on youtube from when she was promoting Batman Begins. It is so hard to watch because she is so obviously crazy. Seriously.

Exactly. Katie was acting, supporting herself and living on her own for several yrs. Then she and Chris Klein hooked up, got engaged. Pretty sure they lived together and were together for something like 5-7 yrs so she has experience in a long term serious relationship. Katie always struck me as quite level headed and mature before, not a "young" 27 by any means.

The Letterman interview is painful. Dave is desperately trying to help her promote her movie and she's not biting, she's trying to promote her relationship with Tom instead.

I think what strikes many as strange is that the 2 of them can't give a simple explanation for how they met or what their first date was like. Plus everything in their relationship has happened at warp speed and for the express purpose of promoting something, usually something of Tom's ie movie or his new studip project. They never tried to be discrete. In fact Tom's sister tipped off hordes of paps to take pics of tom and Katie at The Ivy. I mean everything they do happens in public in front of hordes of paps. They clearly don't care enough to guard their relationship which makes me think there is nothing there to protect. AT any rate I think Tom's more interested in guys and Suri if she is Katie's isn't Tom's.

Hilarious video, it's like a trainwreck. I do like her black dress though.

My favorite thing about the honeymoon pictures are Suri's hard-soled, toddler 'walking' shoes. She looks like she's itching to get down and try them out in that one picture too. Pretty impressive foot size and shoe type for a 7 month old, even one born with "instant neck control" tmTom

And yes, Katie was in a five year long term relationship with Chris Klein, that included an engagement

TOM Cruise has been forced to cut short his honeymoon.

As tropical storms lashed the Maldives, the actor and his bride Katie Holmes headed for the Hollywood Hills.

Maybe it wasn’t just the weather. The couple and their daughter Suri had been island-hopping on a converted ice-breaker, The Arctic P, which has been called the world’s ugliest yacht.

And as if that wasn’t enough for 27-year-old actress Katie, Tom’s best friend, Scientology leader David Miscavige, went along for the ride too.

Days of incessant rain and wind made for a glum couple of weeks for the couple on The Arctic P.

The 87-metre boat has had a £13million refit which has added a touch of luxury.
The yacht was originally owned by Australia’s richest tycoon, the late Kerry Packer, who built up a £2.9billion media empire. But because of their reinforced hulls, ice-breakers are notoriously uncomfortable on open waters.

Katie was reportedly unhappy that she got scarcely any time to spend with her family and friends after the couple’s lavish wedding last month at Odescalchi castle near Rome. She, Cruise and Miscavige left for the honeymoon at six o’clock on the morning after the wedding.

However, Katie, whose biggest film role was in the superhero blockbuster Batman Begins, did manage a smile as she, her husband and daughter boarded a private jet at Male international airport in the Maldives.

It was the first time the family had been pictured in public since the wedding, with Katie wearing a floral top and white jeans designed by her friend Victoria Beckham.

Cruise also sported a casual look, with trainers, jeans, a black shirt and a linen suit jacket.

It emerged this week that the actor has bought a £2.5million house at Dormans Park in Surrey, three miles from Saint Hill Castle, the UK headquarters for the Scientology cult.

Unfortunately, the homes on the estate are currently having mains sewerage connected – they currently rely on cesspits – and residents have been complaining about smells.

District councillor Robert Bisset said: “Dormans Park is a real mess at the moment.”

A resident added: “The stink is appalling. Tom and Katie will have to walk around with clothes pegs on their noses.”

Thanks for the articles, VainJane! Good stuff. It's a cesspit indeed.

Seriously, have any of Tom's camp or TomKat fans given a reason for why on earth Miscavige would accompany them on the honeymoon? Or is it too weird and unexplainable even for them? Or even Suri for that matter - a honeymoon isn't a vacation, and it doesn't have to be weeks long. It's a short, private escape from the rest of the world, including family and friends and the CEO of your religion, for just the wedding couple, so that they can focus on each other and nothing else.

And I'm not saying they should dump the toddler and run off like Britney, but it's not like we haven't seen them 928346 times before, out and about and alone. Well, out and about with Jessica or Miscavige.

If my fiance announced he wanted his best man/religious figure to come with us on the honeymoon, there wouldn't be a honeymoon because there wouldn't be a wedding, because he'd be a freak. And it's not even like they went to a city, where they could stay different places and hang out at other times, with plenty of totally alone time. They spent it in close quarters in an ugly, uncomfortable, industrial boat.
