No one has to be a fashion icon, but she has come a long way from where she was. She took risks, some worked others didn't. Now she appears to either follow whatever trends she thinks are cool or reflecting Tom's sense of style. Like it or not people are going to expect her to look the way she looked before Suri or even the months after having Suri.

I don't think those jeans are too tight, that's I'm sure what the style is supposed to be.

No of course everyone doesn't have to be a fashion icon, what a silly statement. But with her new clothing line coming out, and the drastic change in the way she dressed pre-Tom it's obvious that she's trying very hard to be one imo.

Her "style" is very transient, like she hasn't quite figured out who she is fashion wise.

I'm interested to see exactly what her Holmes & Yang fashion line will look like.
