I've been enjoying her style lately but that jumpsuit outfit is awful!

i was in H&M today, and in the l.o.g.g. section, they have v-neck sweaters similar to this...they have one in more cool tones and one in more warm tones...

I agree, and besides money she has tons of connections too. Even if I designed something as horrible as this I would still want my stylist to step in and say "wait honey, this is horrific" and give me something else to wear. I think she should fire her stylist, immediately.
For such a big night for Katie, this outfit isn't up to par. It kind of reminds me of "I Dream of Jeannie"

Yup, a lot. She even keeps her bags / shoes from 2004 or 2005 and re-wears them. That happenned quite a lot of times, and that is what I love about her the most.

With a differen man, different hair and more makeup I think she would look fantastic. The suit is very nice but IMO her hair is really boring and Tom is just.. not really attractive.

^^ i completely agree! as soon as i saw her the first thing i thought of was Ellen, she looks like a stylish lesbian and she doesn't look feminine, it's almost like she's playing dress up again. Tom looks good though, she has the figure the looks but something is not quite there.. hmm. I don't think she's confident enough , she just doesn't have the air or attitude to pull things off. I'm still perplexed as to why Hermes are throwing a party for her!

You hit the nail on the head, they do look like a lesbian couple.
For me the suit is too matchy-matchy. If she wore something under the vest to break up the pinstripes it would have looked 40% better. Tom could have put on another color suit too so it didn't match Katie's so well. I'm getting the feel that they are "one in the same" and that is boring, there is nothing about either one of them that makes one original. I feel like they're twins sometimes.
And as for looking feminine, I agree that she doesn't here. A suit can make a woman look sexy and feminine at the same time but this cut doesn't.
A good example of a sexy "feminine" suit is the one Carolyn Bessette Kennedy wore to the White House Correspondent's dinner which took place the 1st May 1999. It's Jean-Paul Gaultier btw.
