Sugarjunkie - George Lucas saw the resemblence between the two also. He cast Keira as Natalie's double (the fake queen) in "Star Wars: The Phantom Menace."
She is 21, according to Google she was born March 26, 1985.

I saw her on the Isaac Mizrahi Show and she said that they told her to dress "Caribbean Cool" for the premiere... She dressed herself without a stylist's imput.
Her stomach is pretty amazing, IMO.

I think it's funny how things work out in Hollywood. Keira was saying how she'd love to do a movie with Johnny again, only this time she'd want to kiss him and it looks like she gets her wish. Not to mention her boyfriend made out with Johnny in The Libertine (which had about half the P&P cast in it) then Mr.Collins is in the new POTC. Also Orlando stared in KOH with Eva Green who was in The Dreamers with Michael Pitt who's now Keira's newest leading man in Silk!

Anyway, I can bring news of a new project in which eccentric former rock chick and music entrepreneur Lisa Voice will reunite Keira Knightley and Johnny Depp, co-stars of The Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
The new film could not, however, be further from the swashbuckling pirate stories that they are used to: they are about to put their signatures on contracts to play Voice and her sometime lover, Billy Fury.
The Fifties and Sixties rocker, often described as Britain's answer to Elvis Presley, had an exciting life: 30 hits, 15 years in the charts, friendship with the Who and the Beatles. He was once banned from an entire concert tour for being 'too sexy'.

almost all of Keira's leading men have been significantly older than her. Clive Owen 21 years older, Egar Ramirez 8 years older, Matthew McFadyen 11 years older, Chiwetel Ejiofor 21 years older, Adrien Brody 12 years older, Jonathan Rhys Meyers 8 years older. in fact Orlando Bloom is the only guy within her age range that has played a romantic part opposite her. i would imagine it's because that there aren't many young male actors with enough star power or appeal to fill these roles, or the characters were simply meant to be older, or their acting abilities just outweigh the importance of them being the right age.

and no, i'm not disturbed by it. she's an adult, a young adult to be sure, but an adult all the same. there's nothing lewd about it. they're 2 of the most beautiful people in the world, of course audiences want to see them together. and they have great chemistry.
