I think that they both performed to their best ability in this film, and I'll be the first to vouch for Sienna's acting skills. She is amazing in Factory Girl and Interview, and I think it's a little offensive to compare her to Keira who's had a lot more and better opportunities than Sienna has to hone her acting skills. Keira does outshine her in looks and that's obvious in these clips we've seen, but I don't think we can comment on their acting ability so as to compare them to each other because they've both done a lot of different stuff.
 
Their accenst are so sweet on them! I can't wait to see it ! :buzz:
 
The Diana picture and text were really annoying in the The Duchess trailer, but the clips of the film looked interesting.
 
Thank you so much for The Duchess trailer. I squeaked a lot over Ralph Fiennes, sigh. It looks to be soooo good.
 
I can't wait for when she starts to do press and Premieres for the edge of love. I hope she wears some really knock out dresses and outfits. More rodarte pieces hopefully.;)
 
^ Speaking of promotion and premieres for The Edge of Love, this website seems to confirm her attendance with Sienna at the Edinburgh Film Festival from June 18th to June 19th. Let's hope for lots and lots of photo coverage! No doubt, both of them should look splendid.
 
I just saw Atonement... loved the green gown, she looked amazing but her acting was terrible! :rolleyes:

Why did you think she was terrible? I thought she gave a very good performance, she's very expressionate with those eyes. ;) Sure James McAvoy, Saoirse Ronan and Romola Garai were better, but that doesn't mean she was bad!
 
i agree with the Atonement comments by BadHairDay...i thought she was pretty ad in it too, but maybe thats because the Cecila in my head from the book is nothing like Keira...

she looks great in her next movie, and I hope maybe her acting abilities will shine through
 
I didn't think she had much to do in Atonement. They didn't do a very good job at translating Cecilia over in my opinion. My friend told me, and reviewers have said, that her performance in Edge of Love is her most amazing yet.
 
I thought she was quite good in Atonement personally, especially towards the end, what happened to her nearly made me cry lol

Ian McEwan himself said that he didn't like how Keira turned Cecilia into an "ice princess". But she did look gorgeous in the movie.
