Keira Knightley

cont. Credit goes to me. This includes a picture of Keira with the artists whos studios she posed in. And I guess the only bit of interview they did with her. This is the last of them!

Wow what wonderful pictures!!! Thank you so much kylenrose, I really can't thank you enough! :D

I don't know which to choose as my favourite, they're all so beautiful! A definite success I'd say!!

I love the Louis Vuitton shot, it's so classy. Probably my favourite of the bunch. Oh and I like the Thakoon shot as well! I'm relieved these pictures make up for the hideous cover.

I am so glad everyone loves them as much as little old biased me. I think they're going to be absolutely gorgeous in person. And hopefully we'll get higher quality scans.

Beautiful editorial!!! :buzz: why on earth weren't one of these lovely photographs picked for the cover??

Like the rest of the shoot much better and her bts interview was hilarious. She's so cute.

I wish they'd left that ugly mui mui spread out though. It's just an ugly collection in general.

Thanks for the scans, Kylen. God, I really want those YSL heels she's wearing in the last one.

    Wow, that is one of favorite editorials this year, I think. That more than makes up for the cover shot!!!!!

I'm planning on re-starting reading the Duchess book next week. I've got a final exam coming up, so me and my business law book are becoming very close. :D

what a fantastic editorial :woot: im happy that she hasnt been pouting as much as she used to ^_^

A little snippet from Entertainment Weekly (August 22/29, with Daniel Radcliffe on the cover) and accompanying picture....

Fall Movie Preview

Keira Knightley / The Duchess

Thanks to her Oscar-nominated turn in 2005's Pride & Prejudice, Knightley is no stranger to corsets. But Lizzie Bennet's life was a cakewalk compared with that of Georgiana, the Duchess of Devonshire, Knightley's headstrong heroine in this true-life 18th-century melodrama. Even as she becomes a renowned celebrity and fashion plate, she must endure a villainous husband (Ralph Fiennes) who rapes her and forces her to give up another man's child. For Knightley, 23, the film was, says director Saul Dibb, "a chance to take a character from late childhood-- she's married at 17-- into full adulthood, 10 years later." It also teams her with one of her most accomplished costars yet. "When I said, 'We've got Ralph interested in playing the Duke,' we both took a gulp and went, 'F---,' " says Dibb. "But I didn't for one second feel that she wasn't up to the task."

I cannot wait for all the promotion in the US for The Duchess. Seriously, it's so sad how excited I am to see all these events!

And to spark interest among fashionistas, Paramount Vantage has teamed up with Fashion Week Daily to co-host an elegant party during the upcoming New York Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

The glam "Duchess" bash will take place in the Plaza's ostentatious Grand Ballroom on Sept. 9, the night before the film's New York premiere. (The movie opens Sept. 19.) This is the week that simply everyone who is anyone in fashion will be in town for the Spring '09 fashion shows of Calvin Klein, Phillip Lim, Michael Kors, Monique Lhuillier, Herve Leger, Matthew Williamson, Rodarte, Ralph Lauren, Donna Karan, Zac Posen, Vera Wang, etc.

Keira Knightley, Ralph Finnes, Charlotte Rampling, scads of stylish stars, famous designers and the international style press will sip champagne while checking out the film's costumes (by Michael O'Connor) on display.

And a promotional picture from The Duchess, she's featured on the cover of the Telegraph magazine today too which I will take a picture of later on today (it's similar to this picture only with a darker background!)

Thank you to both of you. Is it wrong for me to wish she'd go to the Rodarte show? Probably. But anyway, I cannot wait for promotions and I was just realising that the last time she had promotions we had the writers strike- so no shows, but now there are writers so she'll have shows to go on-- like The Daily Show, Letterman, Leno etc. Fingers crossed for that as well though I haven't heard anything.
