haha i don't think people hate her anymore than some people hate a certain celeb. there are always going to be groups of people that want to go against the "norm" so if a certain celeb is popular they will find pointless reasons to not like them. mostly its jealously. like when i hear people say "yuck she's just a terrible actor, etc etc..." ok then get out there and do something better. just because someone found a way to capitalize on what they do doesn't mean they deserve to be torn apart, people have feelings, and it's just too much sometimes. Just because someone is a celeb doesn't mean it doesn't hurt them somehow...

maybe that's lame of me...

I don't hate Keira, I find her extremly beautiful and I love her style but I really think she's a terrible actress... I saw a lot of movies with her and I remeber only one where she was pretty good (Bend It Like Beckham) but her acting in Atonement or Jacket was very very bad..

Oh, I thought she was fantastic in The Jacket. I think she's talented, but I have noticed she has certain patterns in her acting for lack of a better word and The Jacket was one film where I felt she broke out of them. It's all opinion though.

I agree completely. I've noticed the same 'patterns' as well. I think she did a fantastic job in P&P, but there is one scene where she breaks out of character, and that's at the very end when she's in her father's study and she crinkles her nose. Overall -- in any film -- I think she's excellent, but she does has very few moments where she breaks out of character. The only films I dislike her in, or think her acting is wooden in, is Pirates of the Caribbean. Either way, I love all her movies.

Anyway, I've noticed she wears lots of jackets and dresses, so I compiled candid pics of her different ones. I used them on my blog, and figured they'd be appreciated here (photo credit here).

Too bad the pics are cut off -- she wears boots 80% of the time.

I want to say it will come out later on in the fall, when the "serious" films are released for the Oscar consideration/buzz. So, I'm thinking we'll be hearing from it pretty soon, even if it's in limited release!

I like that too. When I was searching for photos to use for the collage, I noticed that she tends to wear things over a long period of time -- like her high waisted black trousers, she's had those for almost 4 years now (and wear them at least once a week!). And if you notice, every time she gets a new outfit, she'll wear it days in a row.

The Edge of Love is out in Australia right now, and it's getting so-so reviews unfortunately.

Perfect example is those boots she's wearing in that picture. She's had those for years now. Can't blame her. When I get something I really like I wear it all the time until I somehow lose it and then I'm forced to go back to me other neglected clothes

One good thing about winter coming up is seeing the new stuff she'll come up with. I lover her winter wardrobe. I want all her coats in my size so badly.

Yes, Captain. Her winter wardrobe is to die for. Hopefully she won't be in hiding so much anymore though I can't blame her! Along with everyone else I can't help but to love how down to earth her wardrobe appears, even when she is wearing Chanel. I love that she isn't one of those girls who can't be caught in the same thing twice.
