i wish she went to the Golden Globes. It's a pity really, all those dresses that would have wanted to be worn by keira And she is always the most gorgeous and interesting out there. I guess she won't even attend the Oscars... The only way she would, is probably if she were nominated.

Same here. She could have looked absolutly amazing,she rarely looks bad on the red carpet. So we need to keep positive when it comes to the Oscars,she could still be there Fingers crossed.

The Oscar noms haven't been released yet, so who knows. I don't really think she'll show up either, though. It would be nice.

I doubt Keira will get an Oscar nomination, unfortunately. Considering all the OMG-movies that came out this year (there were none in my opinion, but the award show people think different), I can't see The Duchess really getting any nominations. It makes me sad.

She made it on the long list for the Baftas but considering the amount of British women nominated I doubt she'll even make the list for that- meaning we probably won't get any award shows this season. A bitter pill to swallow considering Keira probably gave her greatest performance yet! But she is young and she is lined up to make some really interesting films so we'll always have next year, right?

Thats the thing with the british, we are rubbish at supporting eachother and supporting british acting talent. If you are not kate winslet, no one will bother. Bloody bafta people couldnt even be bothered to nominate sally hawkins, depsite winning a golden globe.
