my gosh, i've never seen keira in glasses before, she looks so brilliant in them (pictures a couple of pages back). i can never fault her, she always looks amazing, i love her street style.

I was thinking that.
no one seems to remember that film but I thought she was pretty good in it, the performances are so subtle but still very emotional.. I haven't seen many Keira movies after that one but it seemed to me that her acting abilities didn't rely on any special spectacles, emphasized reactions or things that 'work' today.. very elegant.

I hated Dr Z loved the original as with p&p. Anyway i miss her style se really knows how to dress body type, which is similer to mine inly i am like a size 10 to 12 aust not a size 6!

I agree, I've seen nearly all of her films (don't ask me why) and quite simply she cannot act. Of course, that's why I come to this thread for her style

I'm one of those people who always dog her acting skills, but if we are being honest and comparing her to most of the young actresses in hollywood, she's very talented. The problem with Keira's acting isn't lack of talent, rather versatility in movie genre. In other words, she's very good in modern contemporary movies like Bend It like Beckham or Love Actually, but she becomes stiff and one-dimensional in historical/period movies like the Duchess & Pride & Prejudice.

It's the world premier of Rupert's new film (well, Michelle Pfeiffer's new film I suppose) Cherí tomorrow at the Berlinale.
Doesn't necessarily mean she'll appear on the red carpet, though. She could just be tagging along to offer moral support from the sidelines.

Oh. So the 6th TV version and the 7th one overall.
It was decent, but there's nothing at all original about it.
If you want something that's very faithful to the book (and I don't necessarily think that's always a good thing) you should try getting your hands on the 1980 TV series.
