I know Vogue Italia doesn't put celebrities on their covers but i was hoping they'd make an exception this time. I like the editorial, it's different from the others she has done. Also, i'd like her to make more movies ( some that actually get released).

Keira makes plenty of movies, but she barely promotes them anymore lately.

Even if she would promote them more, those movies would still be bad ( Never let me go doesn't do justice to Ishiguro's great book, London Boulevard is apparently very bad and no one except us, her fans care about Last night; i must admit A dangerous method looks very good and i'm hoping it's the movie that will bring Keira the recognition she deserves. She needs to do a big-budget movie that will bring her back in the spotlight.

I'm not sure whether she really cares about that anymore. She gets to play very interesting parts (the movie itself being bad is a different story imo) alongside some great actors and although it seems that she tries not to be involved to much when it comes to promotion and such she still gets editorials in Vogue and a lot of attention all over. If I were her I wouldn't change a thing about that.

I completely agree. It's not a good thing to be overexposed in blockbuster films that may have a wide release but gets panned by critics. I think she is just choosing roles that interest her and challenge her. Recently she hasn't been in anything that has gotten a lot of attention, but I have a feeling A Dangerous Method is going to be great. I mean, Viggo, Michael Hassbender, Vincent Cassel - they're all really respected actors. And Cronenberg is one of the best directors out there.

And I guess Keira is quite lucky that she's tall and slim and drop-dead gorgeous in that it gets her some work and invites among the fashion world. At least they keep the Keira images coming, since we don't really see many candids of her.

I agree, she is just doing something different. There are reasons she has not been promoting, at least for Never Let Me Go, and while I find her London Boulevard disappearance interesting- I don't think Last Night got enough good press, and all the press about it was GREAT- and a Dangerous Method is with fantastic actors and an even more fantastic director. I just think she is..sort of heading into the zone of recluse. Which is fine. It is what makes her happy. BUT MAY I STRESS..we're going to be getting lots of candids soon, every night after her play! So she will be around. And her first go at the theater went great, and I think this will too.

I have to disagree that i think never let me go was really good movie. One of the best. And i loved the book and i think it made justice.
I dont think Keiras movies are bad. some are, of course.
