Keira in love at TIFF 2011

The Elie Saab that Keira Knightley wore at the gala premiere of A Dangerous Method on Saturday night was beautiful. But I almost love more the long Erdem that she changed in to for the afterparty at Grey Goose/Soho House. Unfortunately there are no full length photos of it. Only this one of her with David Cronenberg.

At the press conference, she and Viggo Mortensen posed in Habs jerseys. Cute, right?

She was SO f-cking cute that night with her boyfriend James Righton. They spent most of the evening on one of the side couches talking to producers, friends, really chill, and really happy. She was so happy. She was so comfortable. They were so in love. And he seems so sweet. Has a very boyish face. Was totally ok with not being The Main Focus in the room. Just content to be around her.

And she looks good. Healthy good. ****, yes. But not like last year. On her way out, which was WAY before George Clooney, well before he was even finished eating, I saw her nip a macaroon into her mouth. Without hesitation. I almost clapped.

James did not walk the carpet. Or if he did, no one bothered to take a picture which is why I have none to include.

She seems to be in a better place. I remember when she hated doing premiers and red carpets. Maybe its maturity and a less moody boyfriend.
 
I don't know if it's fair to say Rupert was the cause for her hating to do premieres and red carpets. Yes, she didn't attend all that many events when they were together and she was very reclusive, but in a recent interview she said she has suffered a lot from social anxiety, so perhaps it's just Keira finally letting go of that fear or it could be as simple as feeling more comfortable around the cast. I don't think I've seen her look this happy around her co-stars as she has with Viggo and Michael.
 
She's never had any hatred towards doing press and her relationship with Rupert has never been a factor in her work life, so far as doing publicity is involved. She's never been a media wh*re but she has always fulfilled her promotional duties. I'm not about to talk about her in any depth here (I'd loose my job and she's one of my fav people to work with) but what you are seeing is more mature Keira who's feeling more in control of her career and clearly it's showing. That's all that matters.
 
Her face is just breathtaking!

I really admire Keira for keeping her low profile. It's clear that she doesn't like to expose her private life and she wants to be recognized only as an actress and not as a "celebrity". This is so rare these days....
Keep going Keira!
 
Oh, Viggo. :heart: Her hair is slightly messy, but I am loving this bob with every new pic.
 
She looks absolutely breathtaking in those TIFF portraits. Such beauty and talent. Ugh, I'm so jealous.
