Keira Knightley

why did he say she had great skin when she admitted she has acne???? This just backs up my theory that make-up artists are paid to say that! lol.

I agree make up artists are paid to say that. She has said repeatedly she gets acne and on the last POTC, she was so excited when they just airbrushed out her acne.

I didn't think that could be true! But why would makeup artists be paid to say a star has flawless skin?

Uh....i could think of a few reasons....

I dunno why they do it but they do... wasn't it just a few weeks ago that there's was that list from Make up artists of who had the most perfect skin, and they named Orlando Bloom and Scarlett Johanssen...umm lol as gorgeous as I think both of them are neither of them have perfect skin I've seen pics of both of them with acne... I really do wonder why they don't just take credit for doing their job and making actors look good on camera. Its weird....

I think she'd be beautiful even with a full face of zits!
Her face is just THAT gorgeous!

Also, who would be paying them? Who would it benefit? In theory the actress herself, but if she's admitting to the world that she doesn't have flawless skin, then why would she pay someone to say otherwise?

I have to say that the more I read this thread, the more I like her. I've always had a passing interest, but after following this thread for a bit I think she's not only incredibly beautiful, but she's fun, interesting and has great style. Yay for Keira.

I haven't been on for a few days, so this is the first time I saw the Vogue cover. Oh my God. Keira is beautiful, and I agree with whoever previously mentioned this, she makes me want to buy all those clothes. I love it.

I don't know if they get paid, but it's probably just the etiquette of the business. It's more to polite to assert that someone's got gorgeous skin naturally. I doubt most celebrities would care to work with a makeup artist who commonly reveals to the world that (insert celeb name here) has awful skin/hair/whatever.

Keira is gorgeous even with acne. She's admited she has horrible acne so I don't know who's paying this guy.

How 'bout they want to keep working!!! Imagine a big star going back to someone who was talking to the press about what bad skin they had when their job was to make it look good!!! They'd be out of business overnight!!!

Will Posh Get Keira's Necklace For Her Birthday?

Another year older already? It's time yet again for the birthday of Posh Spice, otherwise known as Victoria Beckham. The Beckhams are infamous for their lavish birthday fetes and this year is no different. Last year they partied in Paris, this year Victoria is having a Japanese-themed party at the Beckham manse in Madrid. The walls will be covered in Japanese silk and chefs from Nobu will prepare the food which includes lobster tails served in martini glasses and exotic fruits and sorbets. But the big news is Victoria's gift. Rumor has it she will be given a copy of the necklace that Keira Knightly wore to the Oscars this year. The massive vintage collar which drips with diamonds, sapphires, rubies and emeralds has been said to cost around $12 million. After the big day, the couple will enjoy a vacation in the Italian lakes area. What a way to turn 32.
