Haha I love how the article makes such a big deal of Keira drinking. As if dancing and kissing like that when "sozzled" is even a big deal!

Well technically if she's drinking in the US then she's underage so it would be noteworthy to the tabs. I know most celebs do it ie Lindsay, I just don't know how they get away with it. I guess the clubs turn a blind eye and just hope they don't get charged with allowing underaged patrons to drink.
I'm guessing that she hasn't started work on POTC3 yet as her hair is short and I imagine they'll have to put her some extensions back in.

I really like her dress from the Silver Spoon Emmy Suite pics. Those sunglasses look great on her as well...she always looks so effortlessly pulled together.

At the ceremony, she was seated between Jack Nicholson ("one of my favorite actors of all time") and her brother, Caleb. 'I really hope they don't call my name,' she remembers thinking, 'because I don'y have a speech prepared and I'd end up looking a complete twit! So it was a relief when they called Reese. It's the reaction shot that's funny, because you've literally got a cameraman in your face, so laughing seemed the best option. It was a really weird, weird, weird moment!'

She does her pouting and sexy pose just for the fun, she loves it as much as any other star out there. You can perfectly tell when a celebrity does't enjoy it,Sean Penn looks absolutely pissed off on every single red carpet and you can also tell people like Kirsten Dunst who doesn't hate but still doesn't love it and stands smiling and tries to look natural.... I tell ya you don't pout and make your sexy look if you're feelin uncomfortable. That's like saying Posh, Lohn or Paris don't like their picture taken.
You know I like Keira but all these plain stupid comments she sometimes make are a bit of a turn off really.

I think they look cute and just because she poses on the carpet doesn't mean she doesn't feel stupid. She says she's acting when she gets on the red carpet--she'd be too terrified to go as herself.

well the paparazzi are always there to take pictures of lindsay trashed who should get arrested since she is underage. and lindsay has missed work and been late to work because of partying so much. keira on the other hand seems to be very professional and i guess where she gets smashed there isnt anyone to take pictures of her

Maybe because Keira does something else besides just getting trashed and shopping. I know Lindsey has a record and movies, but they're all crappy kiddie stuff, not things to take a person serious over.

It IS interesting that Lindsay's trashed but Keira isn't as much...
I think it's because Keira hasn't been involved in much drama. She's British, she lives in London, not L.A., so she isn't seen as much at hotspots there, whereas Lindsay lives in a hotel in west L.A. and hits the club circuit quite often. Keira doesn't hang with Paris Hilton, hasn't gotten into a feud with another celebrity (Lohan & Duff), doesn't talk about her sex life in interviews, and hasn't dated high profile men who have talked about her (her last BF is a model/actor, sure, but he isn't A-list yet, nor is her current beau). Lindsay's first serious public boyfriend blathered about having sex with her to the public, adding fuel to the fire. Also, Keira is known more as a "serious" actress, despite box office bombs like "Domino" and "The Jacket." Lindsay is known more as a "teen queen," though she hates that term. "Mean Girls" made her career take off, but it also pigeon-holed her into that type of role.
In interviews Lindsay talks about sex, has had very public family trouble, and has even made a music video about it. Lindsay seems to invite the attention. "I admit, I love [the attention]," she said in an interiew. Keira tends to be more quiet about it in comparison.

Clear and simple answer
First, Keira is European(british) so she comes from a let's say less puritan society. In Europe the fact 16 year old kids are drinking isn't that much of a fuss, not saying it's right or wrong but it does happen and people don't seem to make any great deal about it, some even take it for granted and believe it's normal.
She's a serious actress, her work belongs to a complete different level than Lindsay's, she's an Academy award nominee and that's gives her something. She doesn't have her picture taken everytime she goes out of her house and sure Linsay gets at least 2 sets of candids a day.Their whole family&friends are different, Keira's mom isn't a 40 something lady who still believes she's a cheerleader and will make it to fame.
You their lifestyles are completely different, she doesn't make it to covers such as Maxim saying "I am a sexual person" that's allright f*ck whoever you like but we're not interested. Keira doesn't want to make a book called narcisist with her sexy pics all over it.
