Knightley described the Pirates of the Caribbean filming as gruelling
Actress Keira Knightley has said the pressures of being a celebrity may force her to quit acting for good.
In an interview with Elle magazine the Oscar-nominated actress said she was particularly worried about being featured on pro-anorexia websites.
The star of films like Pirates of the Caribbean and Pride and Prejudice said being famous was "completely crazy".
She added she did not want naturally thin women to be a "scapegoats for promoting a mental illness".

The 22-year-old actress says being the centre of media attention had forced her to reconsider her acting career.
"I think I just have to move away or give it up altogether," she said.
"I couldn't have kids in the situation I'm in now. But I could just do something else.
"That's probably what's going to happen. I'm just not so hungry any more. I made a decision very recently that I wanted a life instead."
Being featured in articles on anorexia had left her "devastated," she admitted.
She said well-known pictures of her in a bikini were taken after a gruelling shoot for Pirates of the Caribbean, where they were filming in soaring temperatures. "You are wearing a wetsuit underneath a load of corsets. You are fighting with heavy weights in the water. "Can you imagine a more advanced cardio workout?"

I can see that she'd want out of the spotlight. I mean she's been in one of the highest grossing movies ever and she rose to fame very, very quickly. The paps pretty much camp outside her place in London. The girl doesn't have much breathing room.
I can't see her really quitting acting, I can maybe see her taking a break and then seeking out some smaller roles. Possibly even doing some theatre.

theres no reason to quit acting because thats not why the paps chase her...
she pretty and celebrity... why do paps chase paris or nicole.... because their pretty and a celebrity... she should continue her career and use her media coverage to promote charitys or saving the planet

oh this girl is pulling an angelina. ms.unpopular dyslexic who wanted an agent at age 3 will never quit the business...ugh, always playing up to interviewers for sympathy.
