I'm pretty sure he sat next to her at the Oscars but I'm not sure if she's ever done the red carpet posing with him like Kirsten Dunst has with her brother.

^ Yeah I think she does, she's definitely said she smokes occasionally in a couple of her interviews.

Well, just for some visual "proof" if you will, here are some shots from 2006. I think she is what you would classify a social smoker and I swear I read somewhere that she rolls her own, which I think is sort of neat. I think the rolling comment came from when she was talking about how her mom wasn't like other moms and she'd have talks with Keira and then offer for her to roll a cigarette with her... something along that way. Don't quote me though

I would say this is true. Most people will have a *** when they go out in Britain. I don't smoke, but there have been times I've had a ciggie just for the social thing.
The smoking ban in Scotland was a big contributer to social smoking, I think. Everyone has to go outside if they want a ciggie, so if you're in a group at a club and they go outside for a ***, the pull is just to go with them and have one yourself.
Still, most people I know who have " social smoked" often are now complete addicts. Honestly, I don't believe in social smoking. I think if I did it every time I went out, I would be a smoker by now without a doubt!
Makes me wonder if Keira is a smoker, but just uses the social thing as a cover-up.
Still, I think if she smoked all the time, Keira would be the kind to just say it!
But anyway, smoking doesn't make you Hitler H. Anti-Christ!

i've read this too! it was on some interview where she was talking about her mother and how they would casually talk about sex and what not and her mother will ask her to roll her some cigarette (i just find it funny because i can picture the whole scene)
