Keira Knightley

Cure dress bag and shoes! Kind of retro vibe but I like it!

She's not at an event though, she's just leaving the theatre to go home, maybe head out for a quiet drink post show. I think she looks great, the night she wore the Phillip Lim dress she was going the the Groucho with the cast for a West End event.

I agree with littlepaperstars on this one, not to mention Chanel knew what they were getting into. Keira has always worn repeat pieces, and this is the most I have ever seen her in skirts and dresses. Last year she literally wore the same outfit every night.

What event did she go to?

I suppose it is true that Chanel knew what they were getting themselves into but you'd think with Karl on speed dial she'd do a better job.... I'm looking forward to her next red carpet. Just as long as she leaves the peter pan collars and the brown accessories at home.

Just because she is modelling for Chanel, does it really mean that she have to dress Chanel every day and from head to toe?
And she is modelling for fragrance not clothes.

I do not mind her brown accessories, I think it is nice change for basic black or some other colour. Against all fashion rules I like the combination of brown and black.

I didn't suggest that she should wear head to toe Chanel, I meant that as someone associated closely with a major fashion label (perfume being part of that label) and the company's aesthetics I'd expect her to dress a bit better when she knows she will be photographed.
As for the brown accessories, each to their own. It just reminds me of a Clarks advert.

I loved that Chanel dress she looked so lovely in it. I like that she doesn't wear chanel all the time though!

I did not say that you suggest that.
It is not like she is walking around in dirty sweatpants and carrying plastic bag. She has been dressing well.
I don´t really get that if you are modelling for something then that makes you a walking advert.
Isn´t it enough that she wears a lot Chanel at events?
Just wondering.

I love the way she dresses at events, either she has a great stylish or a natural flair and I don't want it to seem like I want her walking out of the theatre in a ballgown, I just think the mini denim jackets etc. look a bit school girl-ish and that she should maybe go for a more demure look which we know she is capable of. That's just my opinion though.

You spend two and a half hours on stage, under very hot lights in a theatre with no air conditioning (even worse in this warm weather) wearing heavy, wool, period clothes doing what I can only describe as an emotionally draining play. You wouldn't feel like dressing up either.

It's not about dressing up (though Anna Friel managed to look flawless walking out after playing Holly Golightly) I guess I don't like her 'casual' style which is strange because normally when I admire an actor's red carpet style I like their casual style too.
