Keira Knightley

This haircut really is perfect on her!
I usualy love long hair but this haircut suits her so perfectly!!!!!

and I love the maxidress even if the color is a bit dull, I also like the dress she wore at Jimmy Fallon, I actualy like the collar it looks good on her...

I think she's just not the kind to be dictated to, she clearly doesn't feel the need to wear Chanel to everything just because she's an ambassador for them (take note Blake), I respect her for that hugely. Not everything she wears is my style, and I couldn't wear everything she does (I have a more hourglass figure than her) but it's always very her. She's never really worn anything that I've thought, 'I didn't see that coming', which is not to say she's boring or predictable just that she seems to know what works for her which is refreshing because you do see so many young actresses who just wear something for the sake of it even if they're not 100% comfortable with what they're in.

I completely agree with all you said :flower:

I guess the last Valentino collection wasn't too bad, but it's all so repetitive. Does anyone find their collections to be so miserable? The whole atmosphere and the colour palette.

100% agree. It's horrible what they have done to the label. All the grand chicness has gone.

I want those sandals above. Everyone is wearing great footwear at the moment.

Blake doesn't really wear Chanel to every event. Anyway, I really like the last Valentino dress. I guess the last Valentino collection wasn't too bad, but it's all so repetitive. Does anyone find their collections to be so miserable? The whole atmosphere and the colour palette.
Yup. And I hate the fact that suddenly the age group for Valentino are teenagers and early 20's. Not that it's a bad thing, but it's all so so innocent, you know?

I love the dress she wears in NY out and about however. She is made for that style.

Repetitive is the right word. I think it's deliberate though. My guess is they have like 300 bland looks that they can easily pick out some, color and embellish and send down the runway, so this scheme will work for a couple years, all the looks will become exchangeable at one point, if they haven't already. All one neutral/pastel colored timid look book. I just wish the duo would stop r*ping old Valentino elements by sticking them to their "creations", move along, do own thing or step away. :ninja:

And I so don't like the maxi dress from her NY outing. The décolletage pattern makes Keira look even more flat-chested, almost indented, plus the disproportion between the a bit raised waist and shoulder area (is supposed to look cute and girly, I guess) is unnerving. It's just those tiny things that make or break a good garment. Gosh, so many good houses would probably kill to have her wear their creations and she sticks with Valentino. Eh, just sad. :(

Her hair looks like it has some bounce in all these new pics but her style is killing me lately. Everything just feels so old and dull. When she's not dressing like a school girl from the 1920s she dresses like a 60 year old British retiree on vacation.

I think the clothes are beautiful but on her it all looks so heavy and conservative. High collars and necklines are unflattering on her in general but that seems to be the only thing she likes to wear anymore. I don't know why but I kind of just want to see her in a t-shirt and jeans or something. Something that doesn't look like it came out of one of the period films or plays she has done recently.

I don't like that dress from the waist down it's too frumpy. I'm not a fan of long dresses in general though

Cute casual outfit. I would bet anything that she's wearing those ugly brown oxfords though.

I have a theory on all this dark, conservative clothing stuff. I was having a chat backstage one night at the play (yeah I know, woo and all that) and I was saying that the costumes must be killer in the heat, there's a lot of wool and things. Anyway, she was saying she loves the style, that 1930's school mistress thing, and honestly I think some of that has carried through to her own style. It'll probably be an influence that will wear off a bit the further away from the play she gets (unless they go to Broadway).

^that makes sense. I get into moods as well! I'm actually kind of liking the looks lately! THey are a bit more conservative and sometime matronly, but they're unique. No one else is really wearing the style that she is right now!

The US seems to be bringing out the best in her, style-wise. It feels like it has been a while since we've seen Keira in LA shooting a new film!
