I only heard about her on internet (like here) but no clue who she is or what she does. I only know her for sex tape and speedy divorce.
I seriously doubt that the Kardashians are known in most places outside of the U.S. (which, in unrelated news, are not the centre of the universe). I for one only got to know about them because of Dlisted and tFS. If it wasn't for that I'd have no idea they even existed (especially since I've never had the curiosity to watch E!).

They're not very well known here in Scandinavia either. Keeping up with the Kardashian is on tv sometimes in the middle of the day when noone is watching and that's about it. Kim is on the cover of the swedish issue of Cosmopolitan this month and you see her sometimes on other magazine covers and on the style pages, but you never see Kourtney or Khloe anywhere. So I would guess that Scandinavia is a pretty Kardashian free zone!

Kim, Khloezilla, the other one, Pimp Mama Kris and their lesbian grandma Bruce Jenner will get their greedy paws around most of the pot and Kendall, Kylie and Rob will get the rest. Scott Disick and Lamar Odom have their own deals. The deal only includes the Kuntrashian's current sh*t shows, so Kim will make even more money when E! eventually greenlights Kim & Kanye Kill Humanity.
And TMZ doesn't even mention how much E! put in Ryan Seacrest's leprechaun pot for staying on as executive producer. That's on top of the $30 million he's getting for Idol. Does anyone else agree with me when I say if I were a Kardashian I would be truely embarrassed and ashamed?
Id be so embarssed at the lack of tact they have with regards to fame and money. IF you're that famous wouldnt you feel the need to devote so much more time and effort to good causes? I dont do as much as I would like with regards to charities ect, but if I was in their shoes I just couldnt fill my days with the mindlessness they manage to.
The sex tapes, the way they revel in their own stupididity (as did Jessica simpson), Their shallowness seems to know no limits.
Maybe im in the minority and I know alot of people will say they are entitled to do as they please, but I just find their money grabbing 'me, me, me' attitude really tasteless.
Everyone is different I know, and I enjoy looking at seeing Kim at events....*shrugs*

I know I would be so embarrassed. I mean, they think they are fabulous but no one outside of their friends/familyl respects them. They don't know what shame is. Your whole fame is based on Kim's sex tape (and not her father) she intentionally SOLD for fame. How low can you go? And the worst thing is, they don't have a goal other than being famous. It's not like any of them was/is an aspiring designer, singer, actor whatever and the sex tape was some sort of sacrifice.. (not that it would justify it). I don't know how they can show their faces at A-list parties like the Oscar/Grammy parties etc with so many talented people. They are the joke in Hollywood and have been ridiculed by so many celebs now. I like Jessica Simpson though cause at least she was talented and was famous for a reason which is why she got the reality show.

I totally agree...they're just so useless, it's infuriating when you think about all the people who have amazing ideas and projects and no cash to make it happen.

I'm a fan of Kourtney, Khloe, Rob, ect. I think Kim is pretty likable as well because she does seem like a caring and nice girl. But my god, she's boring. She has like ZERO personality! I also find it irritating that she acts like such a prude, yet she pushes her sex symbol status at every turn.
I love the rest of the family. Kourtney being my favorite. And i think out of any of them, she's the main one living up to her dreams and balancing work and a family. She's the one that started and continues to run their stores and oversees the all the behind-the-scenes work of their brands and fashion line.
I think it's sad that Kris and Kim will go to any extent to keep their fame going strong, but don't throw out the rest of the family. A lot of the Kardashian/Jenner clan are down-to-earth and not fame obsessed. I find their show entertaining. And throughout everything, they have always put family first.

Also, Americans are obsessed with reality tv. And most reality based shows focus on hooking up, fighting, and partying ect. The Kardashians actually stand out as having a show that focuses on a tight knit family. Regardless of what the headlines and tabloids say, most people are envious of the bond these sisters share, the clothes they wear, and regardless of their success and glamourous lives, they still give off a vibe of normalcy. And that's what people are relating to.

Before I go on a tirade, the jenner girls are in my circle of friends/acquaintances, and I can say they are far from down-to-earth and not fame obsessed. Actually, they're a good 180 degrees far from it.
