The Truth About Kristen

RUMOURS that Kristen Stewart has been dropped as the face of Balenciaga's Florabotanica fragrance are not true, we can confirm.

A video promoting the fragrance was leaked today, which does not feature Stewart, prompting speculation as to whether the actress had been removed from the campaign following her recent "indiscretion" with married director Rupert Sanders.

However, the video is in fact an in-house film for internal use and was never meant for public consumption - in fact there is no television campaign planned for the fragrance, only the print advertisement featuring Stewart.

Coty has confirmed that Stewart remains the face of the fragrance, which is set to launch in September.

In the last few months she has been putting out a more sexy image - her clothes in Cannes and just her everyday casual - different coloured bras, open back t-shirts etc. - all of this before the cheating scandal. I think she is going to tone down that image to the all american nice girl in her new promos for her upcoming movies to get away from the scandal.

Kristen Stewart emerged today in LA for the first time since her cheating scandal with Rupert Sanders late last month. Kristen stayed low-key in a backward hat, though she did put her toned abs on display in a crop top. Pictures of Kristen and Rupert kissing were released, revealing that she had cheated on boyfriend Robert Pattinson. Kristen has since been lying low, while Rob has been out and about promoting Cosmopolis. Rob hit the red carpet for the film's premiere in NYC last week and made multiple other press stops during his stay in the Big Apple. Rob was faced with many questions about Kristen and the status of their relationship in many of his interviews, but he was able to avoid talking about the drama in his personal life and kept the focus on his film.

Kristen, meanwhile, has skipped her recent promotional duties for On the Road, leaving costar Tom Sturridge to attend the London premiere with fellow castmates Sam Riley and Danny Morgan last week. She is reportedly planning to make an appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival next month, though, when the movie screens at the annual event. Kristen also has Breaking Dawn Part II coming up, though the latest is that she, Taylor Lautner, and Rob have decided to skip upcoming Twilight conventions this time around.
