La Redoute

J2LYK...I saw the REAL La Redoute store in Paris....

I wanted some confirmation that the clothes really came from Paris and I walked into the boutique during my most recent excursion to Paris. They use the shipping bags as the actual *store* bags also....:woot:

Pardonne my giddyness!!

I just ordered these in black yesterday. I hope they come in on time.

Help guys!!

I want to do a return to La Redoute.
Besides, tons of confusing instructions, I have found three DIFFERENT return addresses to ship the merchandise back to!

First one is the address on their customer return mailing label which came attached to the invoice:
1. La Redoute
3003 Reeves Road
Plainfield, IN 46168

Second one is on the back of the invoice that came with my package. It is listed under instructions to return/exchange merchandise. The instructions say "FOR ALL RETURNS. USE THE RETURN LABEL PROVIDED OR DIRECT ALL RETURNS/EXCHANGES TO THE FOLLOWING ADDRESS:
LA REDOUTE
1301 PERRY ROAD
PLAINFIELD, IN 46168:

Third one is listed on their website as:
RETURN MERCHANDISE TO:
La Redoute
300 Constitution Drive
PO Box 4010
Taunton, MA 02780-0990

Which address do I use?

Now I am thoroughly confused. Should I just use the return mailing label and forget about it?
For those who have done returns to La Redoute before, any advice will be appreciated! Thanks!! :flower: :flower:

Though I've never ordered or returned to La Redoute, I would guess use the one you got in your shipment...

Oh no, vg, that's terrible!!
Are they doing anything to make up for your loss????

pointup, thanks for the help.
I just don't understand why they must make something so simple so confusing.
The address that came with the return label just didn't tally with the one on the back of the invoice. As for the website *frustration*

Anyone out there who has done a return successfull to La Redoute?
Your advice would really help me a lot!! :flower:

I've had some problems with their customer service. It was so long ago, I don't remember exactly what it was, but my impression was that they were very lame. I did return a coat (cacharel) that looked cheap to me, and it took forever for them to credit my account. I think the problem lies in the fact that thay ship from France, but they have an office in the US that deals with customer service and returns. since I've had those problems, I'm just very careful about what I'm ordering so I won't consider returning it or regretting spending the money...everything from there is so inexpensive - and you do get what you pay for. in this case, don't expect much. you're better off just looking for bargains in your own city/town.

Love those boots Gincat ..I wouldn't mind getting those in grey

^i've been thinking about them for weeks. and they're so cheap i don't know what is holding me up.

ha.

Thanks Hanne. Yeah, I really liked the grey ones too, it took me the longest time to decide between that and blk.

Cupkate, if they've been stuck in your head for so long you might as well go on ahead and get them!

(I'm still waiting on them tho')

I got the boots today. Thery're cute, just a bit more slouchy than I expected. So, that took a week, not bad!

I recently spent £200 on La Redoute items; and there's still so much more I love... (sighs)

wow you guys are posting some great things... i still haven't taken the plunge and ordered anything yet. fit and quality are really important for me... i've purchased some "discount" things before that have fallen apart after one wearing or wash, so i'm hesitant. these fall pieces look fab though, esp the et vous pieces... such as that grey coat

vg, you should definitely be reimbursed by either the carrier or the company. if not, i'm sure your credit card company would have a say in it... you're not responsible if you didn't receive the goods or services you paid for!

^I agree meowmix, that is one of the major reasons why I don't buy from the internet.
