Her performance last night was absolutely amazing. Best of the night for sure. From the guys introducing her and it seemed as if she fell to the ensemble she wore that looked as if it had pieces of the chandelier stuck on it/in her to the end. She is brilliant point blank.

I also loved how she stayed in character the whole night. From her being barely able to walk in her red carpet look along with the neck brace to an MTV personality writing that she was seen limping backstage. I also loved how she changed her outfits throughout the night. Really mainstream Pop would be a boring place without this talented and creative young lady. Go Gaga!!

She was the show last night. When she was singind and dancing, it was so amazing... The best show of the night (even though Beyoncé was fantastic too). And a great personality, I like how she handled well the jokes, in the beggining. Some people (West) wouldn't.

^totally agree. I even sort of wish that they would have closed the show with her. I was really excited to see Beyonce perform at first and I feel that she should have gone before Gaga because her performance was a bit disappointed after seeing Gaga's spectacular show!

if i am to be honest though, the silvery dress she wore to the after party was probably the nicest ive ever seen her wear. the others were just plain atrocious, and if any other celebrity wore them they would be bashed non-stop for dressing that way!

I quite like most of the outfits she wore, apart from her totally wrapped up in red, although it was OK when she revealled her head. I think show-stopping outfits like her looks last night are totally appropriate, I just hate it when she goes shopping in a swimsuit (or less)

Lady Gaga wanted to walk down the red carpet with a lion at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The eccentric pop star demanded a bizarre array of items for her performance at the ceremony - including the dangerous big cat - in an attempt to “upstage” every other pop star attending.

A source said: “It sparked a war backstage as Gaga was clearly trying to upstage the biggest acts. While the likes of Beyonce Knowles kept their riders simple, Lady Gaga wanted to make a grand entrance.

“As well as a plush dressing room with all the usual demands of champagne and fluffy towels, she wanted a jungle animal.

“Her people left a list of companies which provide tamed, trained lions and a formal request was lodged with VMA organisers.”

However, the Poker Face singer’s demands were ignored as the 23-year-old blonde walked down the red carpet alone in a dramatic long black dress with a high feather neck and black and gold eye patch.

The source added: “There were obvious health and safety concerns.”
