Lanvin S/S 2010 : Jamie Bochert by Steven Meisel

I'm so let down by these. Completely disappointed, and that's not something I'm used to feeling about a Lanvin campaign.

The ingredients were all there, fantastic clothes, color, movement, a talented model, but none of that came together. I can't for the life of me figure out why they didn't use more of the colorful pieces shown on the runway, or why the background is so blatantly photoshopped, or why the lighting isn't more dramatic.

I was hoping that this campaign would blow me away, since the first shot was promising, but it's just really anticlimactic.

This is so good!
I don´t care if I see her face or not, this is still an amazing campaign.

God, these are terrible. Definitely not Meisel's best work. I'm left really disappointed by these.

the campaign looks so ankwark  i finally don't like it at all.

I think almost all the pics have emerged now and on the whole I really like this.....lots of drama and artistically very pleasing. Jamie is certainly an acquired taste, but she can defintely model and has an extremely interesting face, even if she isn't conventionally attractive.
I also think Meisel has shown the clothes to their advantage. Too many campaigns nowadays suffer from 'style over substance' and this manages to retain both IMO.

The campaign is deeply dissatisfying. Having Jamie and these wonderful clothes Meisel could have done so much better.

I've finally seen this in print and it looks really good. It's growing on me.

i kinda like it hehe. though i like the behind the scene video more. it's more natural at least
