Latex Leggings / Leather pants #1

i wore them under a black skirt once or twice, i think it looks ok.

i also think it looks better with a loose shirt but i needed a less casual look so i combined them with a black tight skirt, black heels and a smoke blue blouse

I don't really like the skirt/leather leggings combo.. probably because I hate leggings and prefer leather ones to look more like pants.

Yeah, definitely. I would wear a skirt that's a bit shorter, though. I like the look, however.

I think it can be pulled off with a skirt as long as the style fits and the fabric's not too cheap-looking against the latex leggings, because that can easily make your whole look highly cheap and tacky. I guess it's all about the right texture and if the skirt is black, no faded, worn black. You need vibrant.

I agree, I think it's a great look, and one that I've been considering trying - I actually wandered around in a shop today holding a pair for a while before chickening out and leaving them behind!

Agreed. The leather is so much better than those latex ones. Although some of the black latex ones look pretty leather-like. But I hate the silver/gold/color latex ones.

For a photographer, latex clothes can be quite charming (shiny, you can really work fine with light reflexes), it's OK for me as far as it doesn't get too much fetish / BDSM. -- i.e., some latex leggings or gloves can go well as long as they're worn with some hi-fashion. It just depends on the context of the whole outfit.

totally agree there are many very good photoshoots - I remember one from Vogue with Daria Werbowy wearing black latex clothes...

I don't like only thoes shiny silver & gold ones but still they can be quite good for photos

It is just crazy to see everything come around again. I am going to go with those that are for the leather but not the latex. It is just a little to revealing for me with the latex. Has anyone seen some of the designer denim leggings. The William Rast Rep brought by a black pair last week. They were awesome. I think I might try them.

Do you mean jeggings? They can look good, but it depends how you wear them I think.

As for leather vs. latex, leather wins every time.

I bought a pair last week, but I'm still not sure whether or not to keep it, because it's a tad too big although it was the smallest size and I'm still not sure if I like it with tunics.. Hmm..
