I read the articles linked in this thread, and in one, Lee says she loves colour, but has always been afraid to wear it which is why she sticks with black or white or a combo of those two.

While I don't disbelieve her, I also have to wonder if she has long dressed that way in order to distinguish herself from Jackie's Camelot influence (the rich pastels and bold one colour gowns and outfits).

I will say, she still looks amazing!

I just reread Answered Prayers... in the La Cote Basque chapter the narrator is having lunch and sees Lee and Jackie eating together at another table. He says something (paraphrasing here) about how he's always preferred Lee to Jackie and found her more attractive, that in real life Jackie O. seemed like a very skillful female impersonator imitating Jackie O. Lee definitely is more conventionally pretty but I like them both.

I just finished reading "In Her Sister's Shadow" by Diana Du Bois -- MY, what a fabulous, gossipy book. I didn't expect it to be any good and I was shocked at the names which appeared, willing to speak (mostly ill) of Lee. A very dishy, fun read for an airplane ride.

Interesting because i dont see it at all, but thanks a million to all of you for posting photos of her, its actually hard to find her photographs, unless she is with her sister of course.

^It's true! And Lee is such an interesting person! I started to get interested after reading Truman Capote's biography. She was a great friend of Truman.
