Leopard Prints

personally i'm a fan, but i can see how it can make you look abit like trailer trash.

It's hot on the catwalks, but i don't really see anyone on the streets wearing it!
I think that it can only be pulled off if it's made in a soft chiffon-like fabric cos i just dont want to think of it in a material such as lycra!!

what do you guys think about it, and would you, or do you own a piece in your wardrobe...oh, and what do you guys wear it with??

yes, i love it and own a good amount of pieces (shoes, bags, blouses) and plan on buying leopard print pieces from Celine's f/w collection

picture a leapard skin mini skirt, a leapard skin jacket, a leapard skin bag and leapard skin shoes!

okay..so a little over done but i say take special care if you dont wanna come out looking like someone whos giving out free invites

its been abused basically...and so people ahve started relating it to 'b*tches'

but as prince said, some women can wear anything anything and come out looking great

imo...the print has to look real or it looks crap...

That is so true!!! I would never have thought of it myself, but now that you mention it... thats probably why some look good and some not.

i love dolce animal print...always is great.

i have some old pieces from them that still look fabulous

I love it and think it's classic! I think it should be worn in small doses: a purse here, shoes with another outfit, a leopard faux fur coat with undertstated clothing.
Leopard print has been around since the 40's and 50's and in each fashion era, some designer made something with the print. So, to me, that says CLASSIC!

I was never a big fan, but I've wanted a Diane vonFurstenberg wrap dress in leopard for a long time. And frankly, I think those are the only articles of clothing that actually look good with a leopard print. I agree with tracyv though, small doses can work well.

I dislike leopard simply because it's been used so much on awful pieces. The other day I saw a bucket bag in fuzzy leopard with black maribou trim all along the top. It was truly cringeworthy.

Also, things like leopard coats, mini skirts and bags make me think of Fran's mother on The Nanny.

A little leopard print pointy mule is okay though.

ugh, no, no, no.....not on ANYBODY. even models look like trash in animal print. and orange and black prints are the absolute worst
