You know I used the search engine to see if a topic like this was made already...couldn't find nothin'...

Anyways.

These days I find I either really love or really hate some trends, i'm never undecided, what trends do you people find irritating and which ones do you not (or not as much).

I got a couple, I've drawn out corresponding pictures to go with my choices because I just have wayyyy too much time on my hands. and procrastination rawkz :P . let's start out with 2 trends that I've actually liked...

The big glasses that look real 80's and glam-ish. I love em and I have yet to buy a pair... just dont' know where to look

I've always loved Von Dutch hats, I know most won't agree but hell they're great.

And now to stuff I hate...

I DESPISE tucking jeans into socks. Just ew.

And finally...fcuk...

von dutch hats are
I love big glasses (I have dark brown Evita Peroni sunglasses)
Hate the jeans tucked into socks thingie. At least it's a bit fun around here, we have this beautiful national pattern and it's on those wooly socks, so those are pulled over the jeans
I like fcuk a lot. Haven't seen the 'message' shirt as you showed at the stores for several seasons.

oh true, that post is pretty much the same thing actually. wow i dont think i can think up any new topics -_-;;;

I still can't believe myself, but I wasted my money on a Von Dutch hat about a year ago. The ugliest thing ever too. I lent it out to my friends more than I ever wore it myself. Actually I think I only wore it a total of... two times or something? I really hate myself for buying it.

what I find hilarious is the fact that your drawings are copyrighted :P

I mean.. Er..

Yeah, Von Dutch is Von Done.
Lord, these little teenie bopper girls need to use that money and buy themselves a clue.
And large glasses are wonderful.
I'm partial to large aviator sunglasses.

<3
Mm.

LOL I love the wordplay displayed here. I agree, btw.

I won't be partaking of ANY of those trends.

I already have had the big glasses to disastrous effect. See my prom pictures for evidence!

Jeans-in-socks is silly. It is okay,I guess if you are biking, to keep your jeans out of the chain, but otherwise it looks ungainly and dorky and like you forgot to fix your pants. Why is this a trend?

Trucker hats suck. They sucked when they were free with Cargill seed and they suck with VonDutch's unauthorized script on them. It makes your head look like it was blown up with a tire pump.

I can't stand FCUK, as well. I hated them when I lived in the UK, and still don't like them. I don't generally like legible clothing, and wooooooah...how clever to anagram a cuss-word. I won't wimp out. If I feel like saying "f*ck" I'm not going to spend $50 to wear some dumb shirt that kind-of says it for me.

A local Vancouver company has started to make shirts with Braille on them.
Phrases such as 'Do me' and 'I like tossed salads' are seemingly most popular.
Not quite FCUK, but at least they have the guns to actually say it. [To blind people at least.]

I have to say that the whole jeans in socks thing is just stupid

As for the big glasses. Yes I loved them. Especially the sunglasses. I still have my eighties eyeglasses in big sapphire blue. Was SERIOUSLY considering getting my prescription put in them again. (I like my moon and stars contacts too much though.)

The Von Dutch. Thank GOD I haven't seen that in ages! GAK!

and the whole FCUK thing, WHAT THE FCUK?! They need to lose that.

As for my likes, I liked the whole rhinestone era. Cher did a wonderful job keeping that alive. BLESS HER!

The tank tops stitched over the sweatshirts was kind of cool. Wouldn't wear them but I thought it was cool.

and the whole strand of hair wrapped in silk. You know, the Tracy Ullman look from the eighties?

And I loved the big hair thing from the eighties. Bangs sky-high. At least it looked good on the women. I wore my hair with the sides shaved and the back shaved with the top in a slanted flat-top style. (another major miss in the fashion industry.)

im not super crazy about the whole "trying to mismatch" trend, i would much rather look classy and put together

Hate and sick of seeing..............
All the MRS. _______ Tees
Bling queen like every thing bling out from head to toe
"LiveStrong" wrist band
Kabbala any thing
Ruffle mini skirt
Poncho
UGG
Trucker hats
and more I cant even think of at the moment
