^ I've read it numerous times. In one pap video you even see her assistant blocking the paps from taking her pic, and one of them then says something like 'so stop calling us then!'. Another pap (I think it was in Vanity Fair) says that he can call Lindsay and she'll come out of her apartment and pose for him for a fee. (This is more a topic for the 'keeping up with Lindsay' thread I just wanted to explain why we always get so many pics of her no matter where she is)

ok,i believed there were times.coz that's hollywood.but all?oh no,she's still an icon and paps need the news. that's why paps always around her.sometimes paps fixed the videos...so i believed 50% of what paps said,always.
lindsay's life is always unexpected.an army of screenwriters can't do it better.right?B)

Our spy says Lindsay hit up a few stores -- Gucci and Michael Kors among them. But sources close to LiLo tell us she wasn't shopping for herself ... she was Xmas shopping for friends and family.

As for the calling the paps & getting paid thing, she's not the only young starlet out there doing it. A lot of them do it. Especially the ones that can't really get work and are mostly known for their clothes/relationships/partying. Anything to avoid getting a real job and being a "little person" again.
