To address the poster who said she shouldn't wear Chanel, she was the recipient of a Chanel style award about a month ago so of course they are courting her and giving her plenty of their clothes and who wouldn't want to wear them?? I think she looks great with her retro ladylike look. Back in the 60's, Deneuve and Fonda, etc. all looked older than their age b/c they dressed up and did their hair and makeup- I actually prefer a return to ladylike glamour so much nicer than sloppy looks and trying to dress like the crowd.

Oh, I don't mean she shouldn't do grown up chic. Just that a lot of young stars such as her, Nicole and Hilary obviously equate old-ladyish looks (whether they're covered up which they usually are, or not) with class, and I'm just saying a lot of the time they're just too young to pull them off. I'm not saying she shouldn't have her own style, just that she's not always age appropriate. I don't blame her for wearing Chanel couture, but she definately couldn't pull it off.

And about the tan thing, I hope she was wearing sunscreen! I'm pale and I still lay in the sun, but with gallons of sunscren so it's not really tanning

I like that white dress. it reminds me of nicole richies resent empire line, 60s inspired dress, and MKA's resent very similar dresses. well none of them was actually THAT similar to lindsays, but what I'm trying to say is:

I'm glad that youg stars are wearing loose dresses with heels and showing of their legs. it looks so young and fresh
