At the moment yes, but this can change so fast and cruelly, it's scary...She needs to get her looks and health together (for more than a few days, too!) and get back to work..A couple of big hit movies would make her the young Queen of Hollywood! But they are not going to put many millions of dollars behind her projects if the boxoffice isn't worth it and/or they don't feel comfortable that she'll be able to work and complete the movie! (And look good...) This make believe recovery while she's out in clubs all night every day of the week is a joke and the powers that be in Hollywood know it! And her reputation and track record is iffy, to say the least...Having your picture on every celeb website and magazine cover does not make money for the producers; doing quality work does!! As an example, Britney's backers are almost ready to abandon her new album she is "working" on- Poor quality work, difficult to work with, not dependable and her personal life and public image is a train wreck...And could you have ever imagined a hotter star than Britney a couple of years ago!!???

Absolutely, just look at paris hlton, britney spears/kfed, and jessica simpson. They've been on the covers on magazines all year long and their respective carreers are in serious trouble. Appendix Surgery for Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan is having surgery to remove her appendix on Thursday.

"She does have appendicitis, and she is getting her appendix removed," her rep, Leslie Sloane, tells PEOPLE.

Lohan, 20, was reportedly diagnosed with appendicitis after feeling ill on Wednesday.

"I'm shocked," a friend of the actress tells PEOPLE. "I talked to her last night and she told me she was not feeling well but she thought it was a 24-hour-flu."

This is not the first health scare for Lohan. She fractured her wrist in September after a fall at a party in New York City, and was hospitalized in July after becoming "overheated and dehydrated," Sloane said at the time.

On a less serious note, she recently complained about the bruises she'd gotten on her thighs while practicing pole dancing for her role as a stripper in the upcoming thriller I Know Who Killed Me.
