These kinda comments annoy me. Not because I like lindsay or nicole better than the other but because they have the same stylist. They are sent hundreds of clothing items via Rachel and her team. They follow the same trends which pretty much the majority of celebrities do. The only thing they are copying is popular culture. Sienna was a huge part of the cowboy boot trend happening, the olsens renewed the big sun glasses trend and kate moss has been wearing balenciagas for years etc...... If were gonna start saying lindsay copys nicole then we might as well make a list of all the celebrities nicole has been immitating with the help of their high profile celeb stylist as well. I hope that didn't come off angry but people are acting as though nicole is some fashion diva extrodinaire when she only recently has been noticed after her weight loss and hiring of rachel zoe. I don't doubt that nicole isn't very style savvy herself but honestly what importance has she had on the fashion scene ever so far? she's never even started a trend herself.

Thats fine but it's not like I was praising Nicole as some crusading fashion trendsetter- I just meant they were friends..and now Lindsay's hired her stylist and I think they both look good.

While what you are saying is true. If nicole knows something doesn't look good or she doesn't like something she's not going to wear it. You can tell she puts her own twist on things. Plus I rarely see rachel with nicole when she's shopping so who get's the credit then?!?

Exactly, everyone follows a trend and this happens to be the trend right now. I'm saying everyone (including celebrities) put their own twist on their outifts to make it now look like everyone else's and that's something that a stylist can't do and make it look personal.

They have the same stylist. I assumed someone who would make that comment would be unaware of that fact otherwise I don't really see the reasoning in saying they copy eachother. The comments about people praising nicole was just for everyone in the past month or so that has been not you sorry it came off that way.

I read somewhere that Nicole basically introduced them and got Lindsay hooked up. Which is copying and I don't agree with that because I know I would not want my best friend being photographed in similiar outfits to me constantly. I think Lindsay's style is lately starting to change a bit more into her own style though. More classic and sophisticated with all the chanel and her birkin while Nicole is more on the funky side.

i totally agree with this and ur comment before it. even tho nicole does always look 'nice' i dont think she deserves credit for being stylish as shes never created her own trends or largely influenced fashion. her style seems to be more about following current trends and looking trendy, rather than not being afraid to wear what u like. i kind of feel the same for lindsay too.
