I think people are flattering themselves far too much declaring where lindsay must have got this idea or that idea. yeah, she's inspired by fashionable people around her... but not necessarily the few stars people keep reiterating like they've come up with a startling new idea. she's figuring out her style, wearing what she wants. some things work, some dont. It is just as likely that she got the the scarf idea from a girl strolling down prince street than she did from sienna miller. Maybe if we all got over our Kate Moss obsession, we could open our eyes to the real style walking down the street and i think lindsay definitely has some

i actually think the dress/shirt needs the leggings... without them she would be over-exposed and everyone would have a different set of complaints...

I agree with ChrissyM, this dress needs those leggings.

But I don't understand the scarf around your ankle, either.

i have to agree that i love the whole outfit minus the scarf around the ankles. it would be cool maybe with another outfit, but not with this one. i adore the top... anyone know who its by? could be a chloe thing, but i dunno.. ??

i loved her dark hair phase... i think the color worked so well with her style at the time, and her skintone, pale or tanned. it's nice to see her going a little more natural though, red hair is gorgeous. i just wish she'd embrace her natural skintone. oh well, i think she's adorable regardless.

I cannot agree with that statement. I've said it before in this thread, the black hair looked poisonous on Lindsay. Her natural red hair is the only shade that can perfectly suit her, because it is natural. I don't understand why people go around experimenting, when their natural haircolour would suit them the best. Nature isn't stupid, there's a reason you have all the tones, proportions, etc that your body has.

i know you think all of us with kate moss avatars have an obsession with kate- she is beautiful and has true style. she doesn't just let trends wear her, she wears them. style and fashion are 2 different things.
i think that lindsay is hit or miss. i think she is beautiful also and will have a long career. if we are picking her apart and saying what we like or not, what's so bad about that?

I don't agree that our 'natural' color always looks best, plus hair color always is changing and morphing naturally. My hair is a lot more red now than it was a couple of years ago but my complexion usually looks a lot better and 'richer' with a rich chestnut colour. But I wear my natural colour anyway because I like the redness of it.

As for the sienna/lindsay thing, I think sienna's also works because the shape is echoed in her belt and her headscarf so it has some sense of continuity and balance.

Jun 26, 2006 Lindsay Lohan has been accused of being quite the shopaholic on a number of occasions. In fact a report from the UK Mirror claims that last year alone, the 19-year-old shopper reportedly spent over $1 million US just on clothes.

Earlier reports that have made such claims have been denied by La Lohan's publicist.
But she has gained some recognition, no matter what she has spent. Life & Style Weekly has voted the 'Just My Luck' star as it's top fashion idol for the year and will announce it in this week's edition.

LIFE & STYLE SAYS: First she wore all those Balenciaga bags, the Chanel jewelry, the dark nails, and now Linds has made leggings a 21st-century hit.
