^ episode 1 is actually the pilot, which is usually shot months before the rest of the season. it's quite common for peripheral characters to change.

It's not the pilot, the episode Sophia. is talking about. It's a pre-air episode which wasn't supposed to air. That's why it was different. The pilot and the second episode have the same actors.
Wasn’t keen on the first ep….but I thought that the 2nd ep was a lot better…certainly then all CM’s thus far (though I too had a few glasses of wine before watching it). Pity the fashion isn’t up to par….ahh well I’ll watch CM only for the clothes.

Victory Ford is cute....I think that's the only reason why I watch....
it's so not on SATC's level..of course it can't be because it's network tv...
sometimes I feel like they are beating a dead horse by coming out with these spin-off shows....

I've only seen the Pilot so far but from what I've seen, I like; namely Robert Buckley!! 
What a hunk!
Anyway, some of the show is a tad slow and can easily turn into a yawn fest, but due to the hot eye candy, clothing and the 3 main women's plots, there are some highlights worth staying tuned in for.......

I watched up to Ep 4 and am now hooked! this coming from a devote fan of Cashmere Mafia.
I still don't think the main characters are believeable as "friends" but I love their individual relationships, especially Nico and Kirby.

I have no idea why everyone likes CM more, I Lipstick Jungle!!! Victory is by far my favorite and the clothes are wonderful!!! The episodes are getting better and better and i can't wait for the next. Hope it gets another season!!

after 7 episodes i def prefer lipstick jungle. used to hate it at first. FashionJunkie ure so right about the clothes and victoria <3, Nico is dressed good too. i can post some of my fave looks of victoria cuz ive done some caps

I've only seen up to episode 4: Bombay Highway
I read there are only 7 episodes for Season 1? Is there going to be a Season 2? I think I like this show even more than SATC (at least script-wise; SATC will always have the best wardrobe of course!)

Yep season 2 is on the way
Anyway since C.Mafia is gone forever,I admit that I'm turning to Lipstick now.I've just finished watching episode 7 and I still think it's too slow and a bit boring.But the fashion is getting better and better and I like Kurby and Nico storyline.
I'll keep watching cause there's nothing else but this show won't last IMO.By the time Prison Break,Ugly Betty,Gossip,Grey's,DH & co will come back,this show will be cancelled .....
