L'Occitane

^ Which lotion was it?

Some of the more fragrant lotions, I agree are just light- its more of a daily use lightly fragranced lotion. I cant use it for Vegas-too watery for me as well. I need my Almond Supple Skin Oil&Milk COncentrate and my Shea Ultra Rich Body Cream.

What about Do Brasil? Is it any good? Sephora_Socialite, have you tried any of these products?
I'm thinking about Sunscreen Cream High Protection SPF30 and After-Sun Balm.

Overall I like the line.

The Buriti SPF 30 is quite nice, Im pretty tanned so it makes me a bit white for a few minutes but other than that its nice and lightweight body lotion texture. It has a strong smell that lightens after the few minutes, but it isn't bad. Its this fruity musk scent that reminds me of a man cologne that I cant quite place....

The after sun balm my coworker used on sunburn and said it really helped. I used it after being in the sun and I just have a nice brown tan instead of being pink. EIther way, skin dries out from sun and pool/ocean water and it was fairly spreadable but gets slightly more like a balm once its on my skin....heavy duty on moisturizing from it turning into a protective balm like that as well as a moisturizer. I like the smell a bit more the buriti just cuz its a milder kinda sweet nut smell to it.

The sunless castanha tanning stuff is good too. The body one is a gradual tanner and isnt a chemical so no orange color or streaking. Face one works a lot faster than the body one.

Anyone knows ingredients list of Do Brasil products? i would really appreciate it, if someone post it.

I need help. I need to buy new hand cream. Which one would be the best for this season? I want something that smells good.

Take the lavender one! Take it! Take it! It smells divine, like you'd been rubbing your hands with real lavender leaves. I'd bathe in the stuff if I could!

I've tried the olive face cream a few times, and I like it a lot, at least as night cream. Although it would probably hold underneath your makeup as well, at least if you have dry skin.

L'Occitane lavender is divine. The very essence of Provence and the natural world. Pure and refreshing and calming.:flower:

You want each products complete ingredients? I mean I could get it since I work there, but thats a lot of ingredients to list....do you have an allergy to something and are making sure its safe? Its not anywhere online that I know of...

Feature ingredients-

Self Tanner is Castanha which is a kind of chesnut/brazil nut.
After Sun uses cupucacu fruit where the vegetable butter from the seeds inside are used. It can absorb 4times its weight in water so its good for hydration.
The SPF uses buriti is a red brown fruit with almost scales and inside is yellow fruit bearing a edible nut. Its oil is supposed to help restore elasticity and protects skin.

I think she meant this:

It's very good.:woot: I think I'm going to buy it.:innocent:

^Yes. I always post ingredients of a product I want to buy on our local forum and then they tell me if it's worth buying or not. And it is!:woot: Sun Milk Medium Protection SPF15 has a good mineral ultra violet protection and is rich in antioxidants. Daily UV Veil High Protection SPF30 has also a good mineral UV protection and it's non greasy.

^ Its not greasy definitely and melts in faster than traditional sunblock lotion or other mineral sunscreens. Yeah the buriti in it has a lot of antioxidants and also helps skin repair. Its the richest in beta-carotene (more than carrot) , high oleic and palmitic acid to moisturize, protects againsts free radicals with linoleic acid and that also helps with keeping collagen and elasticity up in the skin (which we lose from prolonged sun exposure/damage). Its very worth it. My skin feels great compared to other sunblocks I've had and does so much more for the skin that just SPF with that buriti!

If you have specific questions like that if it has actual good crap in it, just feel free and ask me, or if you really want the ingredients list I can always take pictures when Im at work.

I LOVE the 20% Shea Butter hand cream-it is only the second hand cream I ever tried that really worked well on my hands and now it's a beauty staple for me. I will most definitely be buying multiples and giving it as gifts.

I second the Shea butter hand cream recommendation. It's the best I have ever tried and I have quite dry skin.

I bought Do Brasil sunscreen lotion. I'm thinking about the oil too.

New Citrus Verbena Sorbet Body Cream smells divine!

Aww, you're so kind. Thank you!:flower:

Isa the Citrus Verbena Body Sorbet is amazing when its put in the fridge and used on a hot day! Very refreshing!

I have an interview with them Thursday. I'm at a loss at what to say, what to expect and how to sound knowledgable. It'd be great if anyone could help with a little info about the store :)
