they'll never stop wh*ring the monogram canvas so long as people keep giving them more and more $$$$$$$$$$ ....

Monogram is Vuitton History....It's a classic...Marc's been playing w/ that classic and has been doing a good job.....not always, but most of the time. ;)

^ i meant wh*ring as in toying with it... exploiting it [read: multicolore, cerises]... not using it. it is their heritage and they'd never discontinue the classic canvas.

It Really Hot For Who Love Them, Because If U Love Something
It's Well For Your Style

I loved the fur bags in this collection! they're so cute! I also LOVED the boots!! :D Finally i loved the bags with the leopard print and the symmetrical cut! :D

Damn, I can't see anything, just a box with red X in it... :(, but I did see some of the clothes in the Irina Lazareanu thread, not sure how I feel about it yet...

No, it looks like there is a clear plexiglas support in the middle, just to give it the illusion of there being a hole. The hole is probably between the plexiglas sole and the rubber bottom of the shoe.
At first I thought, no, but, from looking closely at that picture, I see little traces of what seem to be a plexiglass support at the places where it would connect to the shoe....I'd love to see one in person.

^ They're missing that bit, they're for WHORES, like most Vuitton.

Cool collection but...is it even wearable?
Loved the playful take on it and the music :)

I have recently watched Marc Jacobs&Louis Vuitton documentary on DVD and was reminded how much I really loved this collection. Everything about it was fantastic. The touches of grunge, but done in amazingly expensive and lush materials and combining it with the Japanese anime silhouettes was a fantastic idea.

The hats, the shoes.... I love the effect those looks had on the runway, but more so in the ad campaigns. Plus, the accessories were incredibly luxurious. I think this was a collection created with the Japanese customers particularly in mind. And the darkness and danger of it were simply compelling. FW 2006 was a fantastic season for both Paris and Milan in general. It was the best seasons for Dior, Versace, Prada, Burberry, Balenciaga, Hermes and LV, imo. Marc Jacobs was equally spectacular. Hell, even Frida could manage to turn in a somewhat expensive looking collection, once in her life.

Miss those days... terribly!

Man, this was one of my favorite LV collections  I miss grungy, layered styles. Are there any close-up shots of the bags with the lace flower appliques? There only seems to be one and I don't know what the bag name is so I can't look it up anywhere :(

my fav lv collection ever, the styling here is everything!:woot:
