Louis Vuitton F/W 06.07 Paris

Those pants. That's evil.

Exactly.

This is a very disappointing collection. It's Marc Jacobs with lots of fur and LV monograms.

oh my God!:blink::yuk:I really am not sure how this is gonna go down with the middle-aged dames who shop at LV on the Champs-Elysees. Storm-trooper hats in felt, loon pants in fuschia velour...??? WTF?? I'm waiting to see more as I can't believe the whole thing can be as bad as these few pictures would suggest:ninja:

He's not good juggling with the restraints of luxury. These ideas worked a lot better in his own collection, it was tempered with urban notions, with the gypsy, with whatever. But here, it's obvious its about these accessories, it seems something is getting lost. I'm hoping once the whole collection is up, we can maybe see more of an arc, esp with these colors...

Oh this was LVMJ (Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs) This should be his own signature line with a LV logo. I can see from the grunge and big-cocoon-volume look. Of course I hate those stupid monogram multicolor velvets.

am i the only one that likes this collection??
i guess so..
No I don't mind it either. To me it feels like Marc referencing himself and his early collections for LV, specifically fall 1999 with those huge shiny bags and layered clothes. The bags have a clever, awkward, fake-on-purpose look to them that completely diffuses their luxury. It feels vaguely '90s but without being minimal or maximal.

.... nobody needs murakami fur.....

Same.. this has got to be the worst use of fur this season

I dont like the rest of what I see so far either.

I agree Murikami furbag blech :yuk: .. look at Rachel Alexander's face (the model carrying it).. she doesn't look too sold either...

I'm not hating it, but I'll wait to see more...Although it does look a lot like his own line, I see some promise in this.

hrm...Those pink pants. Maybe something Marc would design if he ever did Juicy Couture.
:yuk:
