Which bag should I get for my first and possibly only LV bag? I'm 25 but I look young, so I want something that is more popular among the 20s crowd. These are my choices:

1) Tambourin
2) Speedy 30 (my friend warned me not to get it as it's the most common LV fake out there)
3) Popincourt Haut
4) Batignolles Horizontal
5) Batignolles Vertical

I would go with a Batignolles Horizontal..the Tambourin to me is kinda ackward looking and doesn't fit much for it's price....the Popincourt is a good choice as well..

Speedy 30 is a classic. I would get that. I do like the BH. It's a very functional bag. But I would get the Speedy.

i also vote for speedy 30 - cant go wrong with a classic, esp. if this is going to be your only LV.

Please help!! Debating about the azur speedy 30. It's rather light in color and I have a white le fab. I'd rather use the le fab, what would you rather use?

^^^ Miimac, after having owned Le Fab and a speedy, I would have to say that speedy was used more often (by me) than Le Fab. Even though GORGEOUS (Le Fab), it wasn't a very practical every day bag, KWIM? If you want a speedy, why not get it in mono canvas? This way you will be able to use it in bad weather days as well as during your casual days.

Even though I agree with your friend, out of the bags you've posted I would still go with the speedy. GREAT bag for any age. Unless, of course, you prefer shoulder bags over handheld.

I've decided that I really want a monogram Speedy 30, but I want an old one. I love how they look when they're very broken-in and the leather is really dark. Does anyone know of a good place to find one (besides eBay)? I'm wondering whether there's someone reputable out there who specializes in vintage LV.
