This show was such an absolute joke. Paco Rabanne did the escalator thing last Spring, for one. And all Marc did was a continuation of his NYFW show, which he did last season aswell. It was unflattering, it was boring, and it looked like the tiles in walmart. It's boring, and I don't understand why Marc thinks this is groundbreaking, this show is boring and repetitive, and there should be aisles filled with produce on that set.

I am pleasantly surprised - while the clothes are too repetitious, and he didn't push the prints or designs much, the presentation is simple, but effective and graphically superb. Though minimal, this is also a much better cut and tailored collection than his usual awkward, heavy-handed derivative designs.

What a coincidence! 2 weeks ago I renewed the restroom at my office, and the tiles look exactly like the prints of the dresses... My restroom will be Louis Vuitton and very fashionable next summer! :D

The show presentation was great and the shapes are nice BUT oh lord those checkered prints totally ruin everything. to the point, you start having seizures and feel dizzy.

Wow I thought everyone would have loved it. I did, incredible collection. The show was so fast, but I love the looks. Well done Marc.

true. for me the minimal and often plain clothes merely served as a good showcase for the (mostly) fantastic bags in this collection, but not much more.

Marc Jacobs message behind these presentation with the chess-board pattern is that he controls his bosses and people around him, and plays with them just like with the marionette, and chess-piece. :innocent:

That was some presentation. The way the girls walked together down the escalator was amazing, and the hair and makeup was gorgeous. Clothes, well that's another story :( The checkered looks were awful, and they just weren't that great. Don't get me wrong, I'm a diehard fan of the 1960's but this just isn't exciting and well I liked the sequin looks, that was about it. Too similar to his NYC show which I thought was just awful.

Horrendous. But what else do you expect out of Marc Jacobs nowadays anyways? I just don't understand how he's regarded as some sort of fashion genius by some! All he does is steal sets from past shows of other designers, and then brings out clothes that were designed by someone else years ago. He needs to go away.

You guys better start getting used to this collection since it's going to be everywhere next season weather we like it or not. :innocent:

The runway show was a copy paste job from last Spring's Paco Rabanne. C'mon Marc, I was expecting models parachuting into Versailles now! As for the collection, well it was hardly any different from what he produced for his namesake, just a little better. If you look at some of the details on the flower print jackets etc. it looks quite nice, but I'm getting sick of this 'sweet' LV look. Not only similar to Marc's own line this season, but barely any different in general vibe to LV S/S 2012.
