well LVR is smart in moving there's forward (along with the free shipping) because more and more American stores are offering international shipping (and sometimes it's free). A year ago, neither Neiman's nor Saks shipped to Canada, and both are shipping to Canada for free during the holiday's this year. Same with J.Crew. When the item you want has a lower MSRP in the US to begin with, plus 70% off, I think you will shell out the 20euro to have it shipped internationally rather than pay full price at the shop down the road.

Matches doesn't have their full sale going yet but I popped into their Sale section and there are some real steals in there.

no - they keep the full prices for some items on the SALE AW2008 + some old stuff from AW2007

has anyone ordered an item around or over 2000 dollars on lvr and faced heavy customs fees? i think its a good deal to order from lvr, but only if there arent huge amounts of fees attached to the purchases...

im contemplating on preordering a ro jacket but im discouraged because of all the fees i may have to pay afterwards!!

iheartla, custom fees are always attached to imported items, it's a government tax not anything the stores have control over. fees vary depending on the type of item it is.

i find many times that the VAT deduction equals out the custom fee.

i cant believe that they are going to charge you the full amount if you reserve a piece that wont arrive till march(which out of experience, means april). they should charge you when the items arrive, they can authorize your payment but not actually charge you 4 months in advance!

And great idea about the coupon codes, leyla. LVR is one of my favorite online boutiques, but sales are soooo good right now everywhere..... Some stores are already up to 40-60% off
An additional coupon would entice a lot of tfsers

agree with Mona. i think it would be beneficial for both sides if you could come up with a coupon code with an extra discount for TFSers. it would give everyone who is thinking about buying that "extra" push to be convinced

either way, ive got to say that i just bought a YSL handbag (picture now gone from their site) and a See by Chloe skirt....
