Lupita Nyong'o

I looooove this look on her, I agree she pulls it off so well. I can't see someone else wearing it.

I really, really dislike this on her. She has such an insane body, but I feel the cutouts are too tight and not giving her a nice line. I also really hate the black straps. Would have been a decent looks if just sequins all over.

The blue look from a few posts back proves she looks best in bright, block colours.

Not sure about the black straps on the dress at the premiere but honestly she looks absolutely stunning. Such a statement look, she looks like a true movie star. I'm happy to see her taking risks again. Once again she stood out and I love that it's the right balance between sexy and elegance. Her figure looks amazing. The hair & makeup is perfect as always even though I think it would've looked even better if she had kept it short like she did in Mexico.

She's adorable on Ellen . I don't really like that jacket though.

Her dress at the premiere is Alexandre Vauthier couture btw. Would've never guessed, it's probably one of is best dresses ever. Love the embellishment details , must've looked insane in real life.

She said she wore this look because she wanted to bring the galaxy wtih her to the premiere

I like the premiere gown, but I'm not sure how I feel about the black bands. From the back, it looks fabulous, from the front: the bands look cheap somehow.

^ Agreed. It probably comes down to the designer's skill, but the fit is great in the back.

I do like that she looks real, though. No one can accuse her of looking like a Barbie doll. Some people look extremely packaged on the red carpet.

I loved her look on the red carpet; she oozes such confidence and sophistication. I'm not keen on the black (bra) straps though at the back, but that seems to be Alexander Vauthier's trademark.

Dislike the straps on her premiere dress but she does look gorgeous

Quite a bold look! I would've gotten rid of the fringed hem, though.

^ um, wow. that's weird. and not very flattering i'm afraid. : /

i like first the premiere look but agree that the black straps are kind of odd, breaking up and otherwise sleek look.

what a cutie on ellen... adorable!^_^

I like the makeup ... and agree, whoever designed that should have stopped right before the fringe.

Too much going on at the same time, if they were going for that edgy hair & makeup and earrings they should have gone with a simpler dress imo.

I love the London premiere look - the Proenza attire; the berry blue colour lipstick, the quiff ala mesh hairstyle and those stiletto shoes: it's edgy, fashion-forward and kudos for the Grace Jones tribute.

I just love how they've decided to really use the Star Wars universe for the promo tour and aren't afraid to go bold with her looks. With Daisy Ridley being so safe and underwhelming I'm glad that Lupita & Micaela ( her stylist) take risks and fully honor the powerhouse that is Star Wars.

I loved this Proenza Schouler dress on the runway, it may not look completely flattering here but it's one of the few times that this amazing collection translates well in real life. Everybody wore it from Nicole Kidman to Cate Blanchett but it always felt awkward. I agree that the fringes needed to go but she's killing it. She wears the dress and that saberlaser-blue lipstick with so much aplomb ! It's so refreshing to see an actress who's not afraid to really dress up for the sake of it on the redcarpet but with enough confidence and natural charm to not look foolish or try-hard.

I saw different angles of her hairstyle and I'm once again amazed at how cool it looks. I hope she keeps her natural hair forever and she keeps showing all the amazing hairstyle possible with it. However , the fishnet hairpiece was maybe a bit too much. It looks cool but there's so much going on already with the makeup, the earrings, the dress on itself maybe they should've left it out.
