I doubt whether he’s able to do anything else than what he’s doing , he’s done the same products at both YSL and Celine , only at YSL he was helped with the history , heritage and standing of the brand . At Celine , without all that , his product falls flat

It all boils down to whatever he’s doing now, it’s out of touch and outdated. I’m hoping that he could stir it up but yes, given his track record can he really change it up?

I was hoping that he could go back to his earlier days, which I think could still sell with a bit of update and better marketing could sell. His YSL Rive Gauche and early Dior Homme was slick. But then as someone pointed that was 20 years ago, and it seems like he lost the ability to make something “new”. Whatever he’s doing is played out.
