It's good to see they're getting a long for the children's sake. I'm not sure I like Guy's buzz cut and Madonna's pants. Love her in the fedora hat though!

Madonna Breaks Ground in Malawi

madonna-breaking-ground-malawi.jpg

Madonna plants a Moringa tree at the site of her future academy for girls in a village north of Lilongwe, Malawi on Monday (October 26).
The 51-year-old entertainer was joined by daughter Lourdes, 13, at the ground breaking ceremony and planting of the “miracle tree.”
“Growing up in a privileged life, I took education for granted…but coming to Malawi has taught me a lot of things and (I have) learned to appreciate what life gives,” Madonna said.
“I realized how much they deserve to be educated and so for me the best thing I could do was to build a school, a unique school that will create future female leaders, scientists, lawyers, doctors and if this school is successful it will be used as a model to replicate it in other countries.”
The school will admit 500 girls, ABC News reports, and construction will cost about $15 million.

I'll always love her but her style has been lacking for the past couple of years. I don't get the excitement like I used to have for her in the 90s. She was so fierce in this interview with Kurt Loder in 94, love the Galliano and this new shoe designer "Christian Louboutin..."

Madonna finishes new screenplay

Madonna has confirmed that she has completed writing a new film script.
The popstar, who wrote and directed her first feature Filth And Wisdom in 2008, said that she is planning to relaunch her movie career.
The 51-year-old told Absolute Now: 'I just finished writing a script and I am trying to get funding and casting for it, believe it or not.'
'It's called We and it's a love story. It is two parallel love stories told from a woman's point of view, obviously. One is a historical story that took place with the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. And the other is one I made up about a couple in New York.'
It is thought that Madonna will not star in the forthcoming film. From Digital Spy
