After that hideously underdesigned Spring collection we finally get some real clothes. Honestly I am a sucker for themed shows and this 'evil witch' thing is right up my alley. I'm not sure how relevant this is to today's fashion just yet, will have to give the clothes a second glance, but it was enjoyable. Also those skunk furs were to die for if you ask me.

I felt like I was watching the early 2000s Galliano for Dior show and I liked it.

it was brilliant. The casting was spot on and the clothes were periodic and theatrical without feeling dated

i see LOTS of galliano here, but it's not a bad thing. i actually really like this collection, probably his best in a very long time. the final gowns are amazing, i like the overall darkness and some of the styling

Tbh it felt like an amalgamation of his F/W 11, F/W 12, and F/W 13 collections for Vuitton. That being said, there's a lot to like here. The casting, the makeup/hair, the general vibe... it felt like Cruella De Vil hopped up on a bunch of speed pills.

Always the highlight of NYFW for me. Even if the collection isn't what you expect, the production never disappoints.

Overall I love the collection. I love the darkness of it. I just want to take it apart and look at each piece individually. Well done.

As others have said, it's his best collection in who knows how long. I love the decadence of it.

I think its his best collection in years lol.

It was very Paris in feel and it reminded me of Dior when it was exciting back in the early 2000s

This , Del Pozo, The Row and Michael Kors were the only shows I liked. Though I would still say this is my fav, there
is an excitement and depth in MJ's clothing.

The skunk furs/ pant ensemble and pink pant suit had me at hello.

Marc's Fall collections are usually quite impressive but there was an atmosphere to this one that lent it far more of a punch than anything he's done in years.

Simple tailoring, some great coats, beautiful dresses at the end and a dark vibe throughout that really impressed.

Perfection is what this is! This is Magic when everything works together from the set to the music to the AMAZING cast. I see Prada, Lanvin, YSL, CdG but that's not an insult! I don't think he copies them I actually think he is ahead of them. It's a fairy tail that can walk right out to the Manhattan street as a whole look or mixed otherwise. She's the old rich lady/ghost that lives in the isolated castle in Connecticut and comes the the city to buy some ingredients for her potions. Lot's of Hitchcock.

Wow, that has got to be one of the best shows of his I've ever seen! The music and atmosphere made them look like fashionable woman who would lure a man into their home and murder them  I haven't seen home put on that good a show in years.

Also, no more wigs!

Whenever Marc goes dark that's the Marc that I love most. From that first range of bugle beaded sheaths -- such a bizarrely straightforward proposition in this day and age -- to the end with all of those quirky but glamorous gowns, he had me. I saw echoes of some of my favorite collections of his, namely Fall 2005, Fall 2011 and Fall 2013, yet as with any designer who's skilled in the art of self reference, it didn't really look all that similar to any of those collections.

And for the first time ever the jarring, repetitive soundtrack didn't drive me insane with frustration. That can only be seen as a good thing.

:woot: this is fantastic: i love the gloves, the severity and the sexy glamour. maybe marc just needed to focus: with no LV and no marc by marc, he can put all his energy into THIS.
