i hate the sequined tops, as it looks so trashy and cheap
the whole collection looks too cheap, it's just not for me
last was much better although i didn't like the layering so much

I kinda like some of pieces from this collection. I'm not a big fan of bags and shoes though. Oh and I really liked the green runway

I think Mr. Jacob's styling prowess has finally failed him, because this is a real mess. Half of the collection looks like he might have hired the As Four team to design it...maybe he's making a play for a little avant-garde credibility, but I think he overstepped his limits. The collection does not look assured.

On the plus side, it is distinctive; I'm pretty sure this will be one of the only NY collections of which I will have any recollection next week...

Looks like he's been spending too much time with Lindsey Lohan and Nicole Richie.

I think it's because he prepared for this shoot.

actually I recently read from an interview (I guess it was september i-D )where he said that he can't eat most food products because of an illness, and that has made him lose a lot of weight

all of the ruffling and tiering is almost liberating the way marc used it...at some of the other shows the flowers seemed almost deathly.

i absolutely love it. it's like a surrealist fantasy.

what is with the dumb hats? i get that they're supposed to be flapper-ish but it looks like huge gross plastic rhinestones glued onto a strip of mesh. I hope Marc by Marc doesn't suck this bad. The metallic stuff is gross.

it is anna piaggi and chanel influenced, and weird... and i don't like the glitter. i still find something appealing about it but i can't quite put my finger on it... marc himself has changed quite a bit!

Hating it. All of it looks like trash and the layering is way to over the top.
I mean, the first girl out and the shoe already breaks. We can soooooooo tell his clothes all will be crap.

i think this show is okay.cos at least we see something new and special.it also has so really lovely pieces,but i have to say i hate some pieces.they look so tacky and not pratical.

ahh i hate to say..this is the first season i do not like from marc >.the colour,thestyle, the fit..its not working for me. Lets hope his other line pulls through

... it's like some oblique techno fairytale. The set is outrageous.. a river of turquoise bon bons?!! I do love a couple of bags that weren't attacked by monstrous rhinestones, esp the grey and purple cuties. Only wearable pieces I see are the chic cream coats, couple of metallic tops/blouses, and the 2nd last Balenciaga-esque dress susieb posted. The lucite heels are adorable, albeit impractical. and those pants are dreadfully unflattering. Good fun overall, but I can't imagine wearing most of this.
