Does anyone know who the first model is who opened the show? The run of show says Jamie, but what's her last name?

Jamie Bochert, i think her last name is, probably not correct spelling.
And just to keep this post focused on the collection, it was definitely the best we've seen from marc in a while.
I was just starting to think the spring shows weren't going so well, and then something as beautiful as these clothes just strike out of the blue.

WOW!! I was blown away.. Well thought out collection, I especially love the skirts... Just look at the details, it's amazing!!! It'll take me a long time to digest this whole collection though, cos there's so much intricate details..

The hats remind me of those from his f/w 07 collection (I *think* that's the right one, correct me if I'm wrong) but the look as a whole is like - dayumn.

This is amazing!! love love love it. NY fashion week usually dont impress me that much but Marc jacobs def saved it!

The details are great, the accesories (love the earings) the shoes and the styling was spot on! He certainly redeem himself (at least for me) from the previous collections!!

I have to say going through this collection I first hated it, then it grew on me with every outfit and I'm in love with it now!

very well thoughtout and put together, I really got the feel of the collection

and the dresses in the end were absolutly gorgeous

FINALLY a marc jacobs show I don't hate
I think the styling of the show really does it...I can imagine some piece would look mediocre when in a different context
Does anyone know who styled the show? Katie Grand (I know she does Vuitton so..)??

i like how this follows the same direction in colours, textures, shoes and jewellery as the Prada Resort collection. i feel like it's the prada collection that looks like a distilled/simplified version of this, strange no?
maybe marc jacobs could move to milan, and if rodarte moved to paris too, i could almost skip new york as it is right now... just imho
