Can’t believe we are gonna have another 10 years of her basic, ugly and pretentious stuff.

I can’t.

Why, lord, whyyyyyy?

Whatever. I just hope that her and her daughter won't try to push some feminist environmental bullsh*t and limit the use of fur to the absolute minimum.

Lol that’s another thing. How someone that has been all about rights, morality, the right things to do, blahblahblah can be able to direct a house whose main job is killi!ng beautiful animals to dress millionaires? 🤣

I love hipocresy so much.

Maybe being at Fendi will release her from the commerce that was expected at Dior. I always saw her work as very Italian, although a very pretty version of Italian. Less of the merch driven stuff and more beauty and craft at Fendi would a good route for her to go.
I have a suspicion she'll eschew furs, which is a shame really.

As for Fendi, I was a huge fan of Silvia's work, even her weaker collections were charming and very specific. I'll miss that, but also that kind of work belongs in a different era.

i dont think the merch driven stuff was the problem in her collections. Sure the shops were full of merch but her actual collections did not have too much merch... but still was boring af

It’s not the best news in the world... But everyone had already been expecting this tragedy to happen. I just hope that now, back in Italy, she goes back to working with well-known models and the campaigns are done with Riccardo Ruini’s studio, like they were during her time at Valentino.

I think she will be happier in Roma designing for an Italian house, so she may be more creative. Hopefully she can bring back the Fendi couture line. And if she can keep PG or even get Ashley or Julia to do her show and campaign castings that would help. Her Dior casts and campaigns were always so weird.

Good fit. I know people really hated her dior particularly at the end but if you look at the end of john dior the\nAll start to do this thing where they get bored. And continue to go over the same theme. I think she will have freedom at Fendi. And to be honest with you.
I do hope she looks at Karl work.

They’re going to hire a man to pair up with Silvia and why would Maria Grazia stay with LVMH after being publicly humiliated like that? She catapulted Dior to new heights, only to be toppled by a designer with no track record of generating $1B+, yet. I respect all these designers, but let’s use some common sense. For Maria, it’s not about the money anymore. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: SHE IS RETURNING HOME TO VALENTINO!!!!
