I bought skirt and belt. I tried peacock dress and it looks good but I think that I will tired of it soon. I love pink shorts maybe I will buy it tomorrow...
So I just tried my luck with the wide belt at the online store, sizes S & M were sold out immediately, as well as the leather jacket and now some of the dresses I see....
I tried to order the belt and the blue blazer and got them into the bag, but as I proceeded to check out/login, there was an error message or smthing, and just a few seconds later i tried again and they were already sold out meanwhile...blah. Well, I'm not terribly sad, I just would've wanted to see them in person.
there were a good amount of belts at the Graben store in Vienna. the clutch looks great, but i'm not a fan of patchwork leather (looks cheap imo) but on the upside, it's real leather! i was expecting faux leather tbh...
i went to the chicago launch. I got the blue and pink studded belts, I was surprised they did not even get the sequin dress, that cute little pink dress, the navy suit or the long silk print. and we can't buy online in the US it only went to a few stores, I guess I was lucky enough to be in one of the chosen us cities
love the peacock dress, clutch, and belt! oh and the peacock necklace is cute. not much else really catches my eye...the leather bomber is cute but definitely not worth $250
here's my story here in California at the beverly center:
well i left school early just to get a couple of things and when i get there i ask one of the workers where's the rack and blah and all i get is
" oh sorry but it's all gone"
ugh after hearing her say gone, ugh complete meltdown. well she said that people were here early at 8 and that they rushed in and took everything they can as possible( like always). she told me about the 2nd collection but it's just menswear and swimwear right? oh how BORING....
i am so happy that i did not go at the opening like i usuall do with collabs of H&M. I just was in the city centre ( old town ) so i went to store on like 11 am and most of thing where gone - esp. the ones i wanted to see and try - bomber skirt and dress. I saw sleeveless silk top (pink one) and most of strap-dresses and tops. I touched them - and this is what i was tellin' - just cheap and so wrong. Really bad collection. Burn it all.
On the other hand : WHAT ABOUT RUMMORS WITH MISSONI COLLAB ? IT would be a-m-a-z-i-n-g but i feel like i would buy all so i must start to earn money for it.
info from wwd.
"As an encore, the chain on May 14 will introduce in all of its 1,700 stores a more populist line by Williamson, with 25 pieces for men and 30 for women. Besides apparel, the collection will include bikinis, sunglasses, flip-flops, beach bags, sarongs and towels."
here is what an H&M official has to say about it to WWD....
"A new rule, instituted for the Comme des Garçons line, allows customers to buy only two of the same item. “We were finding that people were buying multiples either [to resell on] eBay or because they were unsure about a product,” said Uglialoro. “They would take half the rolling rack into the dressing room or cash register and didn’t give others a chance.” Uglialoro said the rule was adopted in the U.S. and a few other countries. However, on Thursday afternoon, there already were 80 Williamson pieces for sale on eBay, some at double the retail price."
a WWD reporter relates a scene in Beijing...
"After a 10-second countdown and ceremonial ribbon-cutting at 11 a.m., shoppers swooped into the three-story unit. One young man descended on a row of sequined dresses in the main display window and swept the entire lot into his arms. Nearby staff and outside onlookers cheered him on and gave a round of applause as the man explained the dresses were for his wife."
I stopped by H&M in Boston yesterday, they had a few items, but I didn't really like any of them. Just not really the colors I generally wear. The materials all seemed really nice though, I think the quality is pretty decent for H&M.
