Uuuuu I would love to see Hedi at Ferragamo.
He is not lucky, he has some talent and some good press, the issue is between the runway and what comes on the store floor: pricing, availability, merchandising, marketing etc etc ,Wow, must be the first time we see a CEO bringing a new designer with the suit being kicked out and the designer staying...Max should consider himself extremely lucky.
Again, the two biggest problems at the moment are the pricing and the design offering that alienated the conventional Ferragamo customer. If I want a copy from Phoebe / Loewe I want to pay at least 50% less than the original, not 20%...by that rate I directly go for the original
I must say, I am a fan of Maximilian Davis work at Ferragamo....
However his first fragrance design for Ferragamo is dissapointing....
looks like cheap common drug store fragrance

For sure, maybe he designed the dress and not much more, but I am sure the management, i.e. second-degrees little cousins of the family, meddled heavily with it.Maybe he is not totally responsible for creative direction for their beauty line? This is far from what he presents in the RTW campaign.
