Mini Ipods

Has anyone else purchased new earbuds for their ipod? I have tiny ears.. and the ones that come with it hurt me so much! So I got some really cool ones that fit perfectly into my ear canal.. the sound is so much better!

i have apples in-ear headphones. i use the smallest size and i can't feel anything at all. i don't think that's what you're taking about but it's another option.

I love my iPod - it's the best invention ever. I especially dig it because a) it's like having my own theme music, and b) Nothing says bugger off to talkative strangers like those little white ear buds

I hate I-Pods. They are useless.

I use to have one, and it was rubbish. The battery was not very good.

I had the I-POD 20 GB. I did not like it. So I got rid of it, I then got a 6 GB Pink I-POD Mini, and that is pants aswell. The battery dies in like 5 hours.

Most people I know think they are extremly unfashionable now. They were a phase which has now passed. They are extremly overpriced. I blew like £600 on mine. Luckily I took them back to the shop and got a full refund, but £600. They are not even that good.

I found them, really useless, sound quality is not that good, and battery life is awful. I would invest in a make like Sony. They have really good, MP3 players. You can get a 20 GB Sony, LCD Screen Mini for £150!!! I-PODS are the most unfashionable thing ever.

I have to agree, I was extremely disappointed in mine. But I'm hoping new earphones will make a difference in the sound quality..

Yes! Get the Sony Fontopia earbuds... they fit into your ear so much better.. the sound quality is great!

I have those, the sound is excellent. The wire is a little crappy cause it's getting all twisted up and the such.

I think that the Bose headphones are meant to be very good at filtering out noise and the sound quality is meant to be excellent as well. I wanna get a pair.

Get the iPod for sure. Remember, no product is going to please everyone, every time - and the internet is a haven for people to b*tch about a lot of non-consequential crap - which isn't a bad thing, but it tends to be a lot of hyperbole and not much substance. Everyone I know not only has an iPod, but loves it.

Anyway, the iPod is more than just a sexy design - it's got the best user interface of any mp3 player on the market (which is why it was so revolutionary to begin with). Hands down, it’s the best you can get.

I told my sister to get me one I-pod . I want to get a mp3 player anyway and after thinking a lot and looking for some models, I decided to get the I-pod. I heard positiv feedbacks from people who get it. Can't wait to have it :-)

i love my mini iPod and had great luck with the battery life. mine is one of the new 6G ones (silver) and the battery lasts at least 14 hours. I know this since I plug it in to speakers at work and just play random all day... and it lasts just under two 8-hour work days before it needs a charge.

I just got the blue mini iPod as a gift - it was between blue and green, so I just asked the person to pick for me... Though now I think I should've just picked green - oh well, not going to complain about a gift Haven't even turned it on yet though.. schoolwork is a pain.

you know what? if i wear the earphones for a few hours (bike commute, then errands, etc), my ears hurt too! my mini didn't come with the buds though. my earphones are the ones that look more "normal". i would have thought the earbuds would be comfortable, particularly with that grey rubber bit.

The battery life is pretty bad really. Mine is meant to be 8 hours, but is more like 5. It doesn't make much difference to me cos I charge it while downloading music on to it. Bit annoying during long journeys though!
