the hair and make-up is so dull and boring. its as though they didn't even design a make-up look. and the make-up is a part of the whole look in my eyes. therefore if the face is dull and as has this "i just pulled my hair back and washed my face" look, then the clothes read as dull and boring, and sloppy. the clothes look as though no creative effort was put into them...

this must be a very strange season.. all the designers I usually dread are all of a sudden looking quite pleasing in my eyes . I'm not overly taken by this but I appreciate the missing abuse of prints typical of Missoni.. I also spot some great pieces and gorgeous materials .. not to mention the styling is also quite lovely and understated.. the simplicity reminds me a bit of Marni.. so Italian but far from that recurrent desperation to appear sexy.

After seeing more pieces, I like the collection a lot more. It's a lot simpler with more toned down prints than previous Missoni collections. The individual pieces look very wearable and chic at the same time.

I usually really care very little for Missoni, but I love most of this, clothes, hair, make up and all!

I especially LOVE Mariacarla's tube top dress...that's really gorgeous.

i'm really pleased with this collection. i usually associate Missoni with prints prints prints and not much else, but this is very different. much quieter and not so forceful in its approach.
